Both big, strong, powerful and very muscular but Bruno tendered to tire out towards the end of fights and lost a couple of fights by becoming exhausted and giving his opponent more openings to break him down.

I feel like AJ vs Martins is going to resemble Bruno vs Witherspoon

Joshua isn't as wooden as Frank was, but he's certainly robotic.

    Similarities are pretty obvious though.

    Freeze's when hit.

    No lateral movement.

    Questionable stamina.

And struggle to cope with movement.

Without power, both would have been unknown.

Yes. Frank had a much better jab as well.

I think Martin is probably on par with James Smith so we'll know by the weekend if Joshua has the chin and stamina issues of Bruno. Actually I see some compare with the Whyte and Cummings fights, both seriously hurt but both pulled through, but early warning signs were there.

Martin is even more flawed than Joshua. He looks horrible sometimes, and sometimes he doesn't look too bad. Joshua has very fast hands and obviously carries big power in them too. He should be able to exploit the mistakes Martin makes with that speed of his and get him out of there within 3 or 4 rounds. That said, as flawed and raw as Martin looks a lot of the time, he does pack big power in that southpaw left of his and his right hook seems to be heavy too. If he can catch Joshua with something big before he gets clipped himself I think he can take him out. But both of them are raw and flawed and they still have a lot left to prove regarding whether them being able to take it as well as they dish it out.

I personally don't see the comparisons, people see their physiques and say there is a similarity but AJ is faster, more fluid, is better at mid and close range where Bruno was useless and AJ is more agile as well.

AJ is a bit robotic but not like Bruno, more like Wlad was. Stamina could be an issue like it was for Bruno as AJ is built like a tank. As for how AJ responds to being hurt, he seemed OK against Whyte, he didn't totally freeze but his chin needs to be more thoroughly tested before we can make any comparisons. We really need to see what AJ is like when under real pressure, Bruno tended to fold during the big fights, time will tell if AJ does the same.

Why is it that everyone states AJ has stamina issues as though it's fact?

He may well do, but what is it based on?

Because the haters/trolls need smg, anything to point to as a weak spot. Stamina is top notch, he's an elite level hw with too much for anyone ever to handle.

Only chance to beat him is to have unsightly power and clip him early with everything one's got. Has to land perfectly.

Need a hw to jmm him like pac, but Joshua is too poised to leap straight into a counter right that's already landed 3,4 x in 5 + rounds.

Joshua is never going to fight to such a low level, he'll need a decade of aging for anyone to have more than a puncher chance.

His chin needs many years of softening up before he could lose to anyone not named wilder

I don't think Martin is no Witherspoon.

    AJ wins this easy.

Don't think Joshua hits as hard as Frank .He is a clubing puncher not a one shot destroyer .he is more mobile than Bruno but may run out of gas if a fight gos into the late rnds .he is huge all that muscle will take some powering. Like Frank most fighters will not stand up to the early assault the trouble will be if and when one does what is plan B?. If Joshua can be as successful as Bruno remains to be seen it will be interesting finding out.

There are the obvious similarities in terms of flaws - robotic, stiff, too musclebound etc.

He counteracts a lot of this by being an absolute powerhouse.
