Do you not understand the concept that Joshua is the only fighter which brings revenue into this fight?

If Breazeale beats Wilder, then Wilder is exposed as a bum.....So where's his financial value to the fight then?

95% of viewers are tuning into this fight as either a Joshua fan, or a chance to see an Undisputed HW.......Not Wilder/Breazeale lol.

Yes but AJ vs Fury would do even more.

It will do more yes, but only because of joshua and the unification, not because of wilder.

joshua could be fighting my postman for a unification and that would sell ppv.

wilder never has, nor never will sell a single ppv without joshua.

Do you leave the house? Do you talk to casual's? To you use social media? (Pat on the back if u don't but it doesn't help u here)

Casual's salivate over big, black guys with tremendous highlight reel knockouts who can also trash talk. They are VERY aware and intrigued about Wilder and how he could starch AJ.

They are tuning in to see the fight more than for the undisputed championship. You can't seriously believe otherwise, or you are worryingly way off.

It's like saying Douglas/Holyfield would bring in the same revenue than Tyson/Holyfield would have in 1990. You must be mentally ill.

If Wilder was somehow stripped of his WBC tomorrow but still took the AJ fight, it would still break UK PPV records. Casual's know heck all about belts ffs.

Are you guys in your 40s? You don't understand how the targeted demographic think. Seriously.

simply not true and you know it.

Don't make stuff up in attempt to support your already wrong claim.

if wilder can't sell/fill out a stadium in his hometown, he will not be part of any record-breaking ppv event. it is just common sense, which in your case clearly is lacking.

Well Eddie Hearn must be lying then when he says it smashes PPV records in the UK EVEN if it's at 5am in the morning. And that's coming from a promoter who's job it is to play down the financials when negotiating for a fight.

As I said before, I'll happily remind people on here when it smashes the record. Now where's @Mr Icaman who said it won't do more buys than Parker and Wilder is as well known as Takam hahaha

And I'm far from a fan of wilder, but I'm objective.

it will do more than Parker, probably.

To suggest it will "smash" current ppv records is, especially at 5am, a bit OTT. Hearn is a promoter, what did you expect?

    "Probably"... Don't kid yourself.

Hearn is a man who has been constantly belittling the financial value in this fight, tying himself in knots constantly. He was quoted as telling the Independant several months ago that he would hope the fight would generate over 100mil, and do more than Lewis/Tyson. Now he is saying 40mil is a conservative figure. He was doing everything possible to justify his measly 12.5million offer but even he confesses it smashes the UK PPV record even at 5am.

It 100% does more than Wlad if it's held in the UK. And that's because of the fight. Yes, the undisputed title adds something. It makes it that bit much special, especially for us purists but even if Wilder didn't bring a belt, it would break records. The dynamics; big, brash American with a tremendous looking record albeit deceiving, incredible KO reels, USA vs UK, the looks of both men (sad but true), the inevitable trash talk between the fighters and camp. Also, the casual's certainly know about Wilder. I hear them talking about this potential fight alllllll the time. If people can't see that then they must be over 35 or don't leave the house, or don't have the common sense to gage appeal via social media.

"Casual's salivate over big, black guys with tremendous highlight reel knockouts who can also trash talk." @SambaKing1

Don't comment on UK boxing fans when you clearly have no clue as to why they back certain fighters.

Hearn actually summed it up well a few years back during a press conference for Degale v Jack, when addressing the US fans/media.

He said something along the lines of.....
"Brits have big hearts. In the boxing ring, they're not often the most skillful....but you can never question their heart or their balls".
"It's actually kind of funny how it works in the UK. People can actually prefer a loser, they love the underdog."

Hatton was our biggest 'star' before Joshua. Not because he was as skillful as Hamed, or because he was 'big and black' like Joshua....
It was because he had heart. He was put into the ring time and time again with opponents who were more skillful than him. He'd walk forward for 12 rounds with his chin dangling out, and he'd get hit, again, and again ,and again, until his chin had tired his opponent out.

UK fans don't like 'Trash talkers'.....

    They like 'Working class heroes'.

Joshua has come from that working class background, to the extent where he was carrying out criminal acts to get by......

The fact he is 'big and black' is irrelevant.....

Hatton/Hamed/Benn/Eubank/Froch/Calzaghe etc etc tells you that!
