That is a BOLD statement, but it feels so right to say it! He didn't do everything right, but over came adversity when it mattered most.

Legacy-wise, he was lucky to get shut down before he was exposed. He came back a less flashy but much more complete and mature fighter.

So, Seamus, mo bhuachaill, who would have been most likely to expose him between 1967 and 1970 ?

    No Ali looses same way.

Pressure was his weakness. As he grew older he learnt how to counter off the back foot without expending energy. moving around against Joe is dangerous. you need to stand your ground, hit him, then grab him, rinse repeat like Wlad against Povetkin....this is technique of hit then grab almost destroyed the pressure styles effectiveness.....Until Golovkin Revolutionised it again....Now boxers are being hunted again!

Ali didn't always move for 15 rounds even at his fastest, he wasn't so unhittale in his prime. George Chuvalo was able to get to Ali's body quite easily throughout their fight in 67. He could take a real battering through, his body was like a piece of rock.

Yeah, if he maintains his focus, and not mess around with the ladies. A big IF.
