Gotta love this weight drained excuse. Absolute nonsense. What will the excuse be if he ever fights one of the elite at 140 and gets brutally rendered unconscious? Oh, probably the tried and tested "that punch would have KOd anybody!" routine.

Not a shockingly bad chin at this weight he's at now i don't think, but average, at lightweight going into the ring at 4-6 per cent body fat level, a KO waiting to happen wasn't he? His conditioners must have been mad at the time, add on he was 19-22 at the time.
As he ages he might absorb punishment better. He'll **** on anyone at 140 though, i'm pretty damn sure, apart from potentially Devon Alexander. When he fills out and comes into his own at 147-154, he will be devistating, 24 fights, 23-24 year old.......? He's yet to come into his own, he still on the "learning curve" big time.

Wouldn't shock me if he lost again by ko in the next 2-3 years, he will end up a demon though, i bet. NO chance you beat him on points though, i feel he will be a all or nothing fighter if he's pushed hard, thats why he's exiting to be fair, he really will shock/surprise a lot of people i feel (fans and fighters)... My opinion only though.

his chin was definately ****. It can be improved but it'll never be made of stone

neck exercises will help i believe and also intense quality sparring.

  4. Hasn't he been floored by bums even before Prescott?

His chin might be getting better with those new shakes he is taking. Watch out cause he may just tear thru the boxing world like Pacquiao did after hooking up with Roach and Ariza.

Just look at the fight again, look how his legs shakes when hit by a jab prior to the KO. But i really think his punch resistance now has really improved when he moved up in weight.

Yes he was, no denying, but with a weak ass bodyfat level (5-6 percent on fight night), he was an all out KO waiting to happen, and at the times he was what, 19-21ish?

But at 140 and beyond, with age, filling out a bit ,and the sparring quality he gets, it should improve, never, ever will acheive a world class chin though, but he probablly wont need one anyway.... :bart
Now if it was tested in a truly horrible way (assuming his skills where out and out pissed on, which really probably wont happen) Ariza has got a mix for that scenario anyway:deal haha lol.
