Does Amir Khan's personality and arrogance have a lot to do with you disliking him?

I dont get the arrogance thing.

He gets asked whether he'll win a fight or not and he says yes. He gets asked whether he thinks hes better than another fighter and he says yes.

Whats he supposed to say?

If he was coming out saying "im not as good as this guy" or "i think hes going to beat me" Id be seriously worried.

What boxer doesnt say these things???

Every interview Ive seen with the guy,he comes across as a good guy. Almost shy.

 

Agree 100%. I do enjoy watching Khan fight though, his fights are usually entertaining.

That is one major reason why I hate the ****. It's actually the whole reason. The way he acted after the Peterson fight was the final straw. And before the Garcia fight when he said "I dont do any talking, I let my fists do the talking in the ring". Then sayin he got hit with a lucky shot.. Theres just not one thing I like about the ****! He's an absolute wanker!

 

I'd guess that my feelings towards Amir would be classified as indifferent according to your poll.

Though there are times in which I do like him and find myself rooting for him during his fights - and other times when he makes unpopular comments through the media in which I just shake my head in disapproval at.

His sloppy fighting style at times also is a hindrance to my full fledged support.

 

i like him for his fighting mentality, dislike him for his personality

Like to see him succeed as he would get him self into good fights, couldn't give a **** if he lost.

 

Met Khan personally last year or so in LA, very cool guy, gave me a couple beers even. Always been cool in my books :good

 

he's an over-hyped glass jawed idiot and also many people,especially in UK, dislike him because of his race.

 

everyone I know who's met the guy say he's very cool, always in a sheesha place.

He's not very good speaking through the media - but he gets alot of hate, but people need to remember he is retarted.
