Kessler was the champ... The fight was in Oakland... Who you think would have won doesn't really matter :think

I knew there was a lot of bitching going on but I thought they'd given it a venue after Showtime threatened them, but I guess I was wrong. The whole charade was pathetic and it was clear they didn't want the fight to happen

You're right, it doesn't matter in a cosmic sense.

But I'm nevertheless interested in your opinion. If a rematch were held (and Kessler's eye issues resolved) in Helsinki, would you favor Kessler to win?

I wonder what sort of tactical adjustments you think Kessler would make to be more successful this time.

Yeah, they never agreed on a venue. It's funny because earlier on in the day the story broke that Dirrell was pulling out, I made a thread saying "Why is nothing happening?" and then he pulled out. The first fight was set and nothing happened. No date, location, promotion and neither fighter entered the training camp. Not one person even spoke about the fight, from either team. Then Showtime threatened them and they were still doing nothing, despite Froch and Abraham being well into their training camp and having press conferences. Then Dirrell pulled out.

    Shameful, from both sides.

It's obvious Dirrell lied about the brain injury. What a disgusting thign to do, in a sport where far too many people have suffered from brain injuries. It's not something to trivialize.

WARD words: "I’ve earned the right to fight at home and I don’t think the judges, or the referees, or anybody else has played a role in my fights in terms of helping me win"

    1. you didn't earn anything you stupid piece of crap
    2. the referees and judges played a very big role by allowing him to clinch and headbutt all the time and by giving him an unbelieveble decision against Bika

    Ward is a fraud !!!
