    Ward never won or defended his titles abroad, that has to go against him.

    I could name a large list of fighters that did do that.

    And don't tell me "it was because of money" for example Ward earned far less than Froch over his career, Ward earned very little considering his achievements.

    Ward like ottke wasnt interested in money, he was more interested in bringing them on down to jokeland town and shaft them.

    You bring up some legit criticisms that have dogged Ward for years but you also go a bit overboard. Aside from Kovalev 1, what other decisions did he get that were dubious?
    And calling him the American Sven Ottke? No sir, wards resume was very legit. He’s a first ballot HOFer who just happens to one of the most forgettable personalities with a stanky fighting style.
    Seriously, I can’t think of another fighter who had Wards accomplishments (Olympic gold, undefeated, Super 6, Kovalev x2) who managed to be must-not-watch tv. His overwhelming accomplishments are only surpassed by his underwhelming persona.

    people have pointed out the dubious decisions in the olympics. Kovalev 1 terrible decision, kovalev 2 a joke of a fight.
    Kessler 1 he should have been dq'd
    Froch excessive holding.
    If ottke was american he would be a first round ballet hall of famer too, and he wouldnt have been as corrupt as ward

    I wasn’t aware of any dubious decisions in his amateur career (not saying it’s not true, I’ve just never heard that mentioned).
    The other examples you list are poor/corrupt reffing, not decisions.

    The majority of Wards fights were highly anticipated and done good numbers so thats not even true. He was more popular than Errol Spence and Terrence Crawford.

    There was bearly any holding against Froch and he did nothing to deserve a DQ against Kessler..

    Highly anticipated? Maybe at the Ward family reunion...
    Seriously, given his status his fights weren’t really that anticipated and his numbers were just ok - but again, this is relative to his status. He was never PPV. For a good looking, articulate, clean living, Olympic gold medalist who was undefeated in the pros? He should’ve been a household name; the fact that he wasn’t is a testimony to his dirty boxing and lack of charisma.
