He was PPV twice so that falsity right there proves you don't know what you're talking about and you probably never followed his career neither.

Relax son. What I meant when I said he wasn’t a ppv fighter was that he was never an in demand ppv fighter. What were his numbers in both Kov fights? I’m pretty sure they were pretty low. Besides Kov, how many other ppvs was he in? Again, given all of his good points André should’ve been a ppv staple. That’s what happens to pro fighters that fans want to see - they become and remain ppv guys. André simply lacked the fighting style and charisma to be a mainstream ppv fighter.

Dan Goosen's blood is still dripping off the palms of Andre Ward's hands to this day!

Ward knew he was dying, yet this God damn opportunist thug, couldn't help himself when he saw the pounds signs and the chance to attempt to take advantage of a debilitated, terminally ill and frail old man who was fighting to stay alive.

That fact alone, forever tarnishes the name of Ward, a man guilty of second degree attempted manslaughter.

You’ll forget about him and the sourness he’s provided for you throughout his career soon enough. I’ve grown to appreciate more fighters that I originally disliked as I’ve gotten older. It’s not surprising that my acceptance and appreciation has grown along with my ability remove certain confirmation biased which helped me see things for what they are, live in the moment persay.

At some stage you’ll find a level of personal consciousness that will illuminate the finely tuned abilities that Ward possessed. Today his career is full of questions, underhanded schemes, unfair judging and duplicit strategy. Tomorrow you’ll appreciate his skills, determination, toughness and unparalleled thinking in the ring. Still it dosent garuntee you’ll put aside your pride to ever admit it in public, it will be your own private evolutionary experience.

Line em up and make sure it's in Jokeland, referee's are bought and paid for so he can hold and maul their faces with elbows, headbutts and if that doesn't work, have Prince James, Roc Nation ensure the Judges are in their pockets.

People dislike Ward not because of his religion or fake personality, it's everything to do with the way he behaved in the ring.

He basically did what Lewis did and retired before he got found out. However Lewis was a real champion since he was willing to fight anyone anywhere on any terms.

Everything had to be set up in Ward's favor for him to feel comfortable accepting a challenge.

He also spent more time outside the ring, then in it. When he came back from his 5 year hiatus he teamed up with Conte for him to load him up with roids to help heal his shoulder and give him that edge.

There is so much more controversy, I would have to write a dissertation to cover it all. I and many others will never forget the way he Headbutted his way to victory against Kessler who had shown him nothing but respect and he treated him like he was nothing but a stranded dog who he could illegally abuse.

I dont like fouling. Its not right if something is outside of the rules.
I would rate Ottke higher at SMW

no today is today, tomorrow will be the same as today. The rules of boxing dont change, unless you also want to go back and change bowe vs golata to a ko victory for golata nothing will change

Spoton Bailey but somehow , within the rules can be construed to mean low blows , holding ( clinging for dear life) & collusion with the ref & judges ...desperate,corrupt people who should have nothing to do with the ethos of sport.

That's a great point about the suspected steroid use. Another reason ottke was the better fighter

i find it amazing the amount of people who defned ward.
In germany ottke is seen as a disgrace, if he was american they would declare him p4p number one and give him a national holiday

He outright refused an independent drug test before he was to face Rodriguez after he hired Conte.

    This is on record.

The evidence of roid use was written in acne all over his god damn back.

This is why he will never be respected. Ever

Jesus i dont think any foreign fighter should fighy in america.
You will fight a guy roided to the gills who is allowd hold, headbutt, hit you in the nuts and even if you win 10 -12 rounds they will shaft you.
I know germany has a bad reputation for corruption but its nothing on america

What tarnishes his career is a lack of a long career, and unlike SRL who had a short career also. he does not have Benitez,Duran,Hearns,Hagler on his resume as wins.
