Does he beat the Holmes of 92 that beat Ray Mercer and went the distance with Holyfield? I say no.

He still only has one good win, so i doubt he beats Holmes.

I get it's ridiculous to cross eras and any fantasy match. That said... Ridiculous to know the both and say Ruiz beats Holmes.

Ruiz has got skills. He's a problem for any heavyweight today.

It’s not fair because I’ve only seen Ruiz fight the one time against AJ. Larry Holmes was a very good and underrated fighter. He had a great jab and moved his head well. He was a smart fighter as well. He also fought a much higher level of competition than Ruiz. For now, I have to go with Larry.

Even if Ruiz beats AJ again, I’m still going with Holmes. Over time, I may change my mind but Ruiz has a Long way to go before I pick him over the great Larry Holmes.

I think he's a good fight for anyone around the same size he has more skill than most heavys today just not the physical attributes

Larry done well against Butterbean. But Ruiz is a special more evolved version of the blob. I wouldn't want to see the legendary Larry Holmes cornered by that gluttonous whale.
