How can you compare Wlad's power to Wilders? Wilder has one punch KO power. Wlad hit AJ with a straight right and dropped AJ but didnt knock him out. If Wilder did the same punch to AJ then AJ would be in a coma.

Your power never leaves as you get older but...Wilder hits a lot harder than Wlad. Fact.

By watching them fight and seeing one KO bums and the other KO top contenders...
    So does Wlad...
Maybe. Maybe not. We'd have that answered if Wilder actually signed to fight him. The Wlad of the Pulev fight (his last good performance) would have KOed Joshua, Wilder, Ruiz and probably Fury.
Well technically it does. You slow down and that means your less explosive. So less power.
Nobody in history hits alot harder than Wladimir Klitschko. Nobody.
Also do you think guys like Spzilka, Molina and Stiverne would go the lengths they did with Wilder with Wlad?

Foreman, Tyson, Shavers, Liston hit harder than Wlad and against tougher opposition. Big V hit harder than Wlad.

Ruiz mangled AJ in their fight. Wlad hurt Joshua but didnt get him into a position where he was in trouble. I cant see any evidence that Wlad is one of the hardest punches of all time? He couldnt knock out Jennings which Luiz Ortiz managed to do or David Haye which Belew managed to do twice. Nor Povetkin which AJ managed to do 5 years later...

    I'd say no.

Joshua has better one shot power but Ruiz really strings the combinations together well. He's faster.

The deciding factor is that Ruiz genuinely seems to have a mega chin and Joshua is only average in that department. I'd put money on the hypothetical that if AJ had taken his own monster right hand that landed on Ruiz just after the KD, they'd have stretchered him out of there. The way Ruiz walked through it was deeply impressive.

    All conjecture and unprovable.

Arguments that they finished fights faster are pointless, because Wlad was never in the business of finishing fights fast, they were.

Klitschko at his prime has it all. Speed, power, accuracy, explosiveness. Most top boxers at his age was long retired.
I also think the death of Manny Steward affect him badly. He wasn`t the same fighter after that. Big role plays that joke of a coach Johnathon Banks. He maybe more experience now, and be a better trainer, or maybe wasn`t the right man for Wlad and Whyte, let`s see what job he will do with Golovkin.
Wilder who i don`t like much, simply because of milking the title for so long, before fight anyone even half decent. Anyway you have to be completely biased to deny the crazy power he possess.
But it`s not right to compare 40+ year Klitschko to prime 30-33 years old Wilder at the moment.
Let`s see what Wilder or AJ power and speed would be at 38-40 years old. Let`s see on what boxing level they will fight and then we can compare them to Klitschkos.

I don't know nothing anything. But I do know the bodybuilders power has been completely exposed. That gluttonous blob Ruiz absorbed everything and pounded down Joshua like he was nothing. Lol

theres no logic to this as nobody knows. all heavyweights hit hard and cna hurt a man.

ruiz jnr probably doesn't hit as hard as joshua, just caught him in the right place.

Well Foreman was 47 and Briggs was prime for Lewis and very far past prime for Vitali.

Also I don't take people saying one person hits harder than the other as gospel. Jack Sharkey said Dempsey hit harder than Louis and Archie Moore said Curtis Sheppard hits harder than Rocky Marciano. He also said Yvon Durrele hit harder than Ezzard Charles (who KOed him cold)
