Does any footage of Clarence Reeves (Alabama Kid) exist?

    I can't seem to find any of his fights. Probably is no footage of him, but I just wanted to ask.

    I've never come across them, and I've looked too.

    He was really good, though. Higher level contender, but was over shadowed by best of his era. Beating Archie Moore is some feat. Interesting that he wasn't from Alabama, though. :lol:

    Yeah, the guy was from Philly iirc. Good win for Moore, and a good fighter in the best era ever.

    Legend has it he was first discovered by a promoter while street fighting in Alabama.

    The most delightful thread I ever started was about the Alabama Kid ... it ended up drawing posts from his ancestors, people who had grandparents and aunts or uncles who had met him/seen him fight, someone who has tales from a trainer who knew him in Ohio, etc.:
