Sonny Liston would, he broke fingers and limbs for the underworld, collecting debts, was a tough guy who put a policemen upside down in an alley dumpster in 1957.. George Foreman in his youth would, he was a gang leader in the tough streets of Houston, Texas.

Just because he could get mean and dirty doesn’t make him a good street fighter, the best street fighters would be ones that have a background in grappling or kickboxing or Muay Thai such as Whyte, Miller or Vitali Klitschko

    I don't see it

Tyson in the streets means he can literally do what he wants ... I don't see anyone being able to cope with Tyson's speed and power and footwork on the street

Liston and Foreman may have a chance but I don't put it past Mike to do some crazy **** before either Liston or Foreman do ... For some reason I see Tyson swinging before either of them and just going berserk

A street fight as you probably know is way different than in the ring, kicking in the private area, use whatever means necessary to incapacitate the guy that you are fighting, elbows head, kicks to the ribs, and poking someone's eyes. Not all street fighters can afford martial arts lessons. I think of that scene in the Indiana Jones movie where that martial artist goes through his moves, then Jones pulls out the gun and shoots him down with one shot, so much for his wasted moves.

Foreman doesn't seem like the type to kick, bite, trip, throw low blows etc. Tyson does seem like the type to do that

All of that **** happens in street fights ... And I don't see him getting off punches faster than Mike.

Liston and Foreman may be more imposing and menacing but Tyson was born fighting on the street and has a huge speed advantage ... In the boxing ring they likely beat Tyson but Tyson in the street I don't think so

Sonny Liston had fought in the tough streets of St. Louis, robbed a gas station, Liston probably was a real tough guy in the penitentiary, owned the yard. As I mentioned, he assaulted a police officer, put him upside down in a dumpster located in an alley in 1957. The hoods in prison were probably pretty tough. As an adult he associated with underworld figures like Frankie Carbo and Blinky Palermo.

Sonny still seems like the type to fight with decorum even in the street.

He probably beats Tyson in the ring ... But on the street I don't think so ...

With all due respect, Sonny beat up two good sized men in my neighborhood in 1969, gave one man a severe concussion and left the other severely beaten. This was told to me by a former police Sgt by the name of Pete, that had arrested him for that assault prior to his fight against Leotis Martin. Both had tried to jump Sonny and take the money that Liston had won from them in a game of cards, The rough neighborhood was known as South Park Las Vegas. Both were over 6 ft, both declined to press charges. Sonny did not have a mark on him according to Pete who told me of this. The ring is one thing but a street fight is totally different. Mike did have emotional issues that were well documented.

Dempsey? No way. Tyson was 30 lbs heavier, just as quick and more powerful. Perhaps if Dempsey was roided up like modern heavies but doubtful.

    Liston and Foreman? Yes

Maybe Vitali if he can land a big kick. But Tyson probably beats him

Joe Louis would probably light him up if Mike missed
