    That's f'n awesome. Duran's head meets Arnold's body.

Keep MAG and bernie miles away from it - otherwise the figure will be looking like an Ed Gein crime scene. Only boxing action figure or toy I have is a limited edition Muhammad Ali figure with a cloth robe I got when I was 5.

:yep Ali's a classic one to have.

What's funny is that they had him look exactly like the scene from Rocky

Marvin is The Man. One of the three or four greatest middleweights to ever do it. He's bald too, which makes him extra cool on top of having one of the most indomitable chins in history. But he and his diehards are going to take that L, I'm sorry. :deal

... And he isn't better or greater than Pea, FFS. :-(

 Really cool. This, the training montages, and the scene with Joe Frazier shaking hands with Apollo Creed are probably my favorite scenes in the Rocky series. For some reason, I was never too in love with the actual fight scenes. Might be the purist in me that makes it hard for me to fully enjoy Rocky getting hit by every single punch Ivan Drago throws...I just want to scream at the TV like I'm watching an actual fight :D

Nah, Whitaker's just got too much going for him in a ratings comparison with Hagler. Dominance spanning more divisions, deeper resume (Chavez, Nelson, arguably De La Hoya, Vazquez, Ramirez x 2, McGirt x 2, Haugen, Mayweather, etc.), and looks to be the better fighter on film, which speaks volumes to me as I rate Hagler very highly ability-wise.

McGirt and Vasquez are both underrated these days. Both were the #1 fighters at 147 and 154 respectively when Pernell beat them 12 and 19 lbs out of his natural weight. Christ, McGirt was regarded as one of the Top 4-5 fighters in the sport overall at that time. Nelson as well, even though he was no LW. You know the deal with JCC. That's only top end.

Pernell's body looked so soft and out of shape at 154 pounds. Makes beating somebody like Vasquez, who was coming off of about 10 title defenses and wins over Winky Wright, Aaron Davis, and Javier Castillejo that much more impressive. McGirt would've been a top pound for pound caliber fighter nowadays. And yup, the middle/lower end of his resume is a who's who of those divisions from back then. Most of those wins were dominant.

Can't see Hagler being ahead of Whitaker. That Chavez decision was a disgrace.

    Shoulder feint mastery FTW. :D

Yeah, Vasquez was one hell of a challenge for him and arguably even his toughest test when he was operating near prime form. Julio was a good fighter and Whitaker had no business at the weight up against such a size disadvantage. Looked really crap against Rivera and Hurtado of all, but he was well into the drugs at that point.

I've personally got him #1 of the last 25 years and #4 (Duran, Ali, SRL) of the last 50.

I love Floyd Mayweather. A lot more than anybody in Classic.

I posted a video of Arum calling him basically the most skilled fighter of all-time when he had him in his stable in the Floyd-Duran thread a couple days ago. :deal :yep Nobody responded to it. :verysad
