JMM was a lightweight when Floyd fought him. Well, what if they fought later, when Marquez adjusted to WW?

Not a chance in hell!!! Mayweather is not an aggressive come forward type like the likes of Pac,Katsidis,Diaz,Salido those are the type of fighters than JMM he could beat and look good against., Mayweather is the opposite of that.

JMM always struggled with boxers, he struggled with the average Julian Wheeler, He lost to Chris John and Norwood(controversial but still) and he was going life and death with a shot Casamayor before he stopped him, almost forgot he lost to Timbo too. Mayweather is levels above those guys, even if you put the worst version of Mayweather against the best version of Marquez and Mayweather would still come out on top and with ease.

Floyd was all wrong for any version of Marquez.

Best case scenario, JMM wins a round or 2.

Marquez hit Floyd w/ a flush bomb in their fight. Roidquez might have KO'd him w/ the same punch (same thing happened to Pacquiao).

Not enough roids in the world that could see Marquez beat Mayweather, especially a very "dehydrated" Mayweather with limitless TUE's.

It all comes down to the roids man. For real.

If Roidquez who fought Pac(IV), Bradley, and Alvarado, stepped into the ring with pre-roid Floyd (DLH, Hatton version) then yes it is possible.

Floyd would have been freaked by that power. Roidquez was punching holes through Alvarado - it was scary ****.

Everyone's seen Floyds glove touch the canvas. Nice try though.

Floyd wins the match up however.

FLoyd would always be the naturally bigger man so no.

This will always be a case of "great bigger man beats the great smaller man".

No. Floyd does everything better, but is also taller with a longer reach. When Marquez tried increase the pressure Mayweather dropped him. Marquez didn't even want a rematch, which says it all.
