Does any version of Marquez beat Floyd?

    No, Floyd is all wrong for any version of JMM. Includind the post memo roided versions.

    Marquez needs aggresive opponents in order to shine. Floydette's negative, wussy counter punching style along with his huge advantage in size, reach and speed makes it a total mismatch.

    there's a reason this is considered Floyd's most disgraceful cherrypick in a career full of them

    Both guys are counter punchers but are still different within that style. Marquez will counter with multiple punches, usually a 2-3 punch combo then most time will either step sideways or stand his ground. Floyd uses mostly single counter shots them maneuvers himself away. Within a match up like this most times the taller guy with longer reach will easily beat the smaller opponent.
