Mayweather always stays in shape, so its not going to be a big deal for him.
He's from a fighting family, he's been in boxing gyms since he was a toddler.

Just read JMM signed for 145 lbs, and all it needs is Floyd's signature.

I thought the debate was 143 or 144, but 145?

Thats to much to give to Floyd, JMM is either desperate for a big paycheck or he really does see something to expose from Floyd.

The link that I read is that the agreement is that it will be somewhere below 145 lbs.....which to me means 144 lbs or below.....

It could be that its been stated this way because the final details on the financial split of the PPV has yet to be finalized.....and so if need be, either JMM or Mayweather can concede weight for more money, as long as the fight takes place at below 145 lbs.

What will be the difference between 140 and 147?

Floyd having to cut weight and not having to cut weight?

    What else?

I can't help but to partially feel that PBF is just once again avoiding the top welters. I happen to think that he really isn't a true 147lber but because he consistently claims to be the best then I continue to hope that he for once fights the best that 147 can offer. That said I'm pretty excited about this fight mainly because of the attention and hype that it will no doubt create which is always a good thing for the sport. I do expect JMM to give PBF a tough scrap but at the end of the day I see Floyd's speed and accuracy being too miuch for Dinamita.

Floyd would make JMM look like an amateur, constant head snapping, actually I would love to see this fight

Nah, Im making plenty of sense you just a blind hater. It dont matter what weight the fight happens at, JMM will lose, and once that happens guys like you will be looking for an excuse or a way to discredit floyd for beatting another top 10 p4p fighter. Its ok for the Pac, and Jmm, and others to move up to a weight and fight anyone other then Floyd, whenever floyds name is bought into the mix its always Floyd should fight him at this weight, or that weight. And another thing great fighters move up in weight and fight. When shane mosley chased a fight with Oscar did he move up to 140 and demand or even ask Oscar to meet him at 140 even though Oscar could have made 140???? **** no he didnt. Back in the days when Whitaker wanted to fight Roy Jones at he didnt ask Roy to come down to 154. Pea moved up to 154 won a title then said that he felt slow and sluggish at 154 and wouldnt be moving up to 160 to take on Jones. Pea was willing to go to Jones even though at the time Jones could have still made 154. That is my point...JMM spoke Floyd names, he called for a fight with floyd knowing that Floyd was fighting at 147. The fact that Floyd can make 140 isnt the point, why should he??? He didnt call out JMM.

In the end this is merely a ploy, so after the fight happens and JMM gets knockout guys like you will come in here with all that bull**** about weight.

oh trust me i would be here:deal i'm discussing on the other thread of what type of pbf shows up in the ring with his 2 year layoff from ring rust and him being in his 30's. If a past prime pbf beats a prime jmm who is still fresh in the ring i'd give him props for it.

While you're here making out built in excuses about the weight, when jmm is known to weigh in around 140+ in fight night..i hope i still see your ass after the fight lol, i know as the months drew near you're getting nervous my friend but theres no excuse at all when pbf beats jmm so stop making all these built in excuses about weight bs lol:lol::hi:

its funny how jmm cannot school pac decisively for 24 rounds, while floyd when given the chance for 24 rounds against your other hero castillo he schooled him and decisively:deal

I vote you for the bafoon of the forum.......

What the hell dont you understand? in a previous post I stated that I'd favor Mayweather to beat JMM even at 140 lbs, but that JMM had a legit chance to pull the upset......with each pound past 140 lbs JMM's chances imo decrease.....

You seem not to even bother to read posts and just diss anyone that does'nt worship Mayweather.......

You're way off base about me losing confindence in JMM, when from the start, I've said that the younger naturally bigger Mayweather must be favored!

Try reading a post for once before you respond with your nonsense!

divac what is the difference if the fight were at 140 or 147?

Why do you seem to think that Marquez has to put onweight if he were to fight at 147 against Mayweather who will weigh exactly the same as if he were to fight at 140.
