If Golovkin does not fight El Pollo, he will fight his mandatory, unless he can unify with Saunders, but Saunders still refuses to fight him after all these years. Charlo is the greatest middleweight of all time because he actually beat a cripple! Golovkin should fight a cripple, then fans would really look up to him like they do Charlo. Damn, it takes a lot of skill and guts to fight a cripple, which is what made Charlo the greatest middle weight of all time! GOLOVKIN MUST FIGHT A CRIPPLE NOW!!!!!!!

Is that why they have been trying to get a fight with Saunders for years? Why did Void fight Conor with a record of 0--0-0! Damn, takes guts! Still, Golovkin needs to fight Charlo's cripple now!

Obviously I know that, hence the reason I make it a point to say Non-Title fight.

Canelo wasnt suggesting he wanted fight GGG at 155 for MW titles.

He clearly said, " Lets put the belts aside".

I don't think he's in the wrong for calling GGGs bluff when you consider that when he made that comment he had never fought at the MW limit and GGG himself he would fight anyone between 154-168.

If anything GGG was the hypocrite for going back on his word for a second time, the first being when he was unwilling to fight Ward at 168.

You're too bias in your thinking. If you want to blame someone why don't you blame the WBC for allowing Cotto to fight for their title at a CW against Martinez, then allow Cotto to defend it twice at a CW, then allow Canelo to defend it at a CW again.

Canelo vs Cotto was always going to happen, with or without the MW title on the line. GBP had already made Cotto an offer a year or two before but Cotto refused to fighy Canelo. When Cotto finally agreed he demanded it happen at 155.

How can you blame Canelo for not wanting to fight GGG at 160 without acclimating? Canelo did the right thing by dumping the WBC MW title instead of holding it hostage. His only defense of it was against Khan, nice little easy money grab and then vacated the title and immediately challenged GGG to a NON-TITLE fight at 155. Again, GGG had already made the claim he would fight anyone between 154-168, why change his word based on the opponent?

Had Canelo vacated, not challenged GGG, then you have an argument it was a duck, but the very fact that Canelo insisted on fighting GGG even at 155 who again I must state had stated he would fight anyone between 154-168, it cannot be called a duck.

What's your point? Who was he fighting? Use some logic. A non title fight highly anticipated by Mexicans and somewhat long overdue. Like I've mentioned before, that fight between JCCjr and Canelo was more of an exhibition bout despite not being billed as such.

All we want is for GGG to stop fighting No-hopers and take on the challenges before him. If he chooses to vacate to fight Saunders it will be a bit disappointing and hypocritical as he's or his fans have used the mandatory excuse to avoid challenges and used the unifying all belts to avoid another challenge. So what happen to those goals? Saunders imo is the easiest fight out of Canelo, Charlo, Deveryanchenko, Jacobs.

Consistent you may be, or may be not, most hardcore GGG fans aren't very consistent, but fair you are definitely not. You don't use the same measuring stick for each fighter. Your obvious love for GGG and dislike for Canelo makes you bias and unfair.

I thought it was very good exposure for Canelo and sets up a potential super fight with BJ Saunders. Fighting Hatton, Khan, Smith gave Canelo exposure in England that he may otherwise not gotten. Smart move to market yourself in one of the biggest boxing countries.

There is nothing to criticize. Its not like Canelo wastes his career fighting no hopers. He's fought the best JRMWs and the best MWs.

    Excuses for what? Lol

He vacated and challenged GGG to a fight at 155. That is a fact.

The amounts of clen were consistent with consuming tainted meat. I didn't make that up.

He passed all tests after that including a HFT. That's not an excuse, its facts.

You're judging Canelo for vacating, and challenging GGG to a CW.

When GGG doesn't fulfill his mandatory obligation and is stripped or forced to vacate and he fights Canelo or Saunders will you also ***** about him and his GGGoon patrol who will undoubtedly justify his moves?

You GGG fanatics have been nothing but double standards regarding Canelo. Hard to take most of you serious when you give your fighter a pass and not others.

GGG vs Chenko and Charlo over 2018/2019 would be great, but the haters would still hate. That's what they do!

you can spin it both ways. Could also argue Canelo trying to make GGG take the same deal as before is a duck

…….then Pacquiao ducked Marquez each and every time they fought.
Even though Marquez was beating him every time out, Marquez never got more than a 25% piece of the purse every time he fought Pacquiao after the first fight.
Its unfortunate that the purse disparity is that much and personally I think Golovkin deserves more than 25% as I thought Marquez did, but that's the business side of boxing where the cash cow is firmly and securely in the drivers seat as far as negotiations are concerned.

If Golovkin wants the Canelo fight, he's going to have to take exactly the same percentage he received for the first fight. That's the formula for cash cows, why should Canelo be the exception?

I was playing devil's advocate. The OP span it with his agenda, I span it for a GGG nut huggers agenda. I was merely just pointing out how you can come to a different conclusion based on your opinion.

although I do believe GGG deserves at least 40%, well he deserves the majority share actually in an ideal world, but boxing isn't an ideal world and GGG is not the person bringing the money, its similar to the AJ/Wilder situation. Sure, AJ (Canelo) could still earn multi millions fighting Joe Bloggs at Wembley, but the big money comes in a fight with Wilder (GGG)

Ok buddy. You hold on to that thought as long as you have too. I find it a bit odd that you reply to a lot of my posts, like do you want to discuss boxing, or do you just want to follow me around seeking my attention?
