Does anybody complain about Mayweather making Hatton move-up to fight him?

Not Really. Between fights Ricky's natural weight would have been at Cruiserweight , what with all the pies and Guinness.

 

Hatton didn't have to stay at 147. He saw a chance to win a ww title at 147 against a guy his advisors didn't think was as good as he was in Collazo. Second time at ww, he saw a chance to fight the best fighter pfp in the world one weight class up. It does work that way. Floyd didn't make Hatton come up in weight, hunger for greatness did.

And he knew he would outweigh Floyd in the ring, and thought he would be able to bully him.

 

He did think he could bully Floyd in the ring, but Hatton feels that way about who ever he fights. Hatton didn't know Floyd hit as hard as he did, and he admitted he didn't know Floyd was as strong as he was.

 

just say you dont like catchweight fights then, 157 for cotto vs martinez makes a huge difference in cotto's chances, despite that I will give a fighter much more credit when they destroy a top guy in his division.

They shouldn't complain unless they weren't following boxing 4-6 years ago. Hatton refused to fight Mayweather at 140 and called him out for the fight at Welterweight.

 

I don't like catch weight fights...never did. I'm old school. 8 divisions rare catchweight fights. How many divisions now? No need.
