ignorant statement no matter who you re a fan off . big height reach advantage wouldnt mean much if margo was soft but since he's hard as they come will mean alot .cotto will pay when going to the body and he's not that quick .

 

Cotto has VERY underrated hand speed. Especially compared to a really slow guy like Margo

 

:nono That's a common misconception, which is why people usually pick against Cotto. Watch some of his 140 lb fights and you'll c a different fighter, i.e against muhammed abdulaev. He's more versatile.

One of Cotto's best and most underestimated attributes is his ring smarts. He's real comfortable in there. Its easy to see that he's been trained from the beginning to fight like a professional as opposed to Cintron who still looks like an amateur to this day (i.e Cintron/Margarito I and II) Cotto can change the tempo, and confuse his opponent (and his detractors) and he's not going to lose his head and panic or simply re-act like Margo's other opponents do when they land a straight right hand and Margo smiles through his mouthguard. For this reason and those already mentioned I think Cotto will take this fight 116 - 112 or possibly a stoppage as Margarito has been cut in the past.

Margo wins this one because Cotto will act like he does against when they keep on coming - starts to retreat, box and move in the end stretch ( NDou, Mosley). If you consider that Miguel can only afford to do so if he gets some sort of edge around midstage, that means that he has to commit fully to aggression on the early going... Well, I don't know where Miguel Angel Cotto puts himself more in risk of being/looking like being outhustled - in the early collision or when he's fighting on the back foot - either way Margo has a great chance to look better and pull it off.

 

Margarito doesn't stand a chance! This is the same **** that happened last time he knocked out Cintron....he bacame ridiculously overrated. Cotto will beat him up real bad and stop him. Margo is still the same guy that struggled with a one-handed Clottey and got badly outboxed by Williams.

 

i agree but to hurt margo he has to go to the body and he's gonna get hit alot getting back out .The key to this fight is the body attack by cotto how much punishment is he willing to take to get some

cotto beat a fast robot in mosely does the same exact movement over and over again clottey is tough should get more respect and its margos style size and chin that poses the threat not who he's fought but who he is that day thats all that matters .they both have a chance
