    I doubt rematch will be for some sort of title, most likely its going to be at catch weight ~150.
    If Hoya will get title shot at 147 I will be pissed...

    De La Hoya is just a big ****ing scam now, and so is Floyd for avoiding real boxers to fight this cocksucker twice. But Oscar is a great guy for only charging $75 so 'the Mexicans could watch him' spar a featherweight for 12 rounds.

    Wow racist statement but whatever just shows how serious you should be taken.

    As to the opening thread. IT really doesnt annoy me since he always puts up a close competitive fight.
    HAd he been getting completely blown out or Kod it would be a different story.
    Hey Oscar is not stopping Mayweather from fighting the top WW. Im sure if Mayweather really wanted it he could squeeze one of the top WW in between the rematch.
    There is plenty of time.

    You earn it when you win titles in 6 divisions, are a former pound for pound champion, and the biggest name in the sport.

    DLH is only 3 - 3 in his last 6 fights. . . this is including the showcase fight with the contender loser this past saturday.

    Agreed,but is it not unfair on other contenders who could be competitive and,moreover,have bothered to build up credentials and earn rankings in the WW division,but wont get the chance?
    Using that reasoning;If this is competitive again,why not just have Floyd vs Oscar every year for the WBC/PFP/KFC or whatever title until one is too shot to compete?
    Its BS,hence the disdain for the fight,and also for me,the DLH red carpet treatment making it extra galling.

    Yes, but it's the sham of Mayrunner "only fighting the best" and "Cotto is not good enought yet".

    Boxing allows this to happen far too often, hence the decline in the sport in general.

    Every star boxer does it. Why? Because more than likely they've paid there dues. In DLH's case he has had a great boxing LIFE, over 200 amateur fights over 150 KO's, as a pros has about 44 probably ore than half have been at World Champioship level. Has never been dominated, has kept boxing alive through his fights, events, and Promotion company and got a SD against P4P#1 fighter and thouroughly put on a boxing clinic on Forbes.

    he also makes his opponents wealthy.:good

    seems to me if youre a fan of the sport fist and foremost you are annoyed by this, if youre a DLH or Fraud nuthugger youre o.k. with it.
