A simple and 100% accurate conclusion.

If you're a selfish ******* with no life you're annoyed. If you are a fan of boxing and understand what boxers go through before, during and after the fight by rputting their health on the line, and understand that to fighters this is a business first then you're okay with it.

Hey at least DLH is seeking tough challenges while making money. He isnt getting rich fighting washed up fighters. THE THING IS HE IS STILL COMPETITIVE!!!

He is not stopping the best from fighting the best. When you fight once a year your opponent(Mayweather) has time to fight other fights. The wolrd does not revolve around DLH.

IT almost seems like people hate him because he has become succesful.
What they dont realize is that it was years and years of hard work and fighting which got him here. He didnt just wake up and get this handed to him.

It's irrelevant wether I am or not. I am though.

But be it ANY fighter, if he can make a fortune fighting a sack of potatoes then I'm for it.

You see, these guys risk their lives for our viewing pleasure. You're a fatass that wants them t risk their life for less money just so you can see more blood. Don't take me wrong, I like blood but I prefer fighters get paid too.

It's not really a racist statement, the fight was on the weekend of cinco de mayo, a mexican holiday. Not a latino holiday, or whatever the PC term would be, but a mexican holiday. Not to mention the comment wasn't deragatory, and "Mexican" isn't a race.

It floyd one should be **** at. If he was a true warrior, he would tell DLH," I already beat you, there is nothing else to prove. I'm going for the Cotto/Margo winner".

Oscar is a buissness man, who will allow you to get paid well if you fight him. He worked his way up the ranks and fought some good opposition to get to this level. a good Boxer in his prime and now on his way to being a top Promoter, once Arum and King retire ( should be soon).

If you are a fan of the sport, it is completely unacceptable for Floyd to be fighting DLH again. Every financial need he will ever has is covered, and he would be paid VERY well for fighting Cotto.

If you really care about fighters getting paid for what they do, you would want the one who needs the money more, Cotto, to get the big payday fight.

There is no excuse for Floyd to not fight Cotto, it is laughable that boxing doesn't make this fight happen and laughable that boxing fans are ok with any other fight.

It would be like the Patriots playing the Oakland Raiders in the super bowl instead of the Giants and Pats fans being ok with it because the Raiders have a bigger following and its better for Tom Krafts finances, its such a complete ****ing joke that the two best fighters in a class don't fight each other, that should not even be an option, that should be mandatory.

Floyd fans aren't even fans of Floyd, they are fans of his agent and accountants, they care nothing at all about boxing, as long as their hero gets paid for as little work as possible.

This is a bad argument, as boxing is setup nothing like pro football.

No it's not a racist comment, though it could be taken that you were implying Mexicans can not afford tickets to the DLH fight. Hey, alot of Mexicans can't, but then again there are alot that can. The price was low, to give back to the public.

When DLH came to the Sun bowl to fight Patrick Charpentier, it sold out. And most came from across the border. Tickets weren't cheap either.

No one is forcing anyone to risk their lives, this is what these guys love to do. If they expect boxing supporters to pay $50 to watch their fights on telly, it would be respectful if they fight the toughest competition possible, and make matches that, crazy idea here, people want to see.
DLH is extraordinarily wealthy and doesn't need to box to make money, he can earn more as a promoter, by giving Floyd a lucrative option of avoiding the top guys at WW, he is robbing younger, hungrier fighters of their well deserved shots at the title. It's just greed at this point for Mayweather and DLH and they are ruining the sport that has given them their outrageous wealth. If you are a person that has a big mancrush on DLH and his fishnets, great for you, but don't act like the rest of us are crazy for wanting to see meaningful fights that are worth our hard earned money.

Also, I was actually just quoting DLH, who said that ticket prices were low because he wanted his Mexican fans to be able to come to the match.
How charitable of him. I wouldn't go to that shitfest if the tickets were free, which they should have rightfully been.

Yes, but the concept is the same. An undeserving team/fighter is getting a chance at winning the trophy/belt based on popularity and not on merit. So it does make perfect sense.
