At least the gloves which are the worst gloves in the business i think. There are other products that are not so bad but anyway if you hate it explain why and what brand do you think is better.
Hmm I suppose im different I hated Everlast gloves a couple years ago but I found a pair that works well for me the advanced style ones I get better wrist protection and the way the gloves shaped it helps with my technique plus it doesnt smell bad. Im alright with the handwraps, headgear, shin guards I have from them.
I like Grant. Its a good quality brand. My cousin had some winning gloves he never used so he gave them to me and since i had surgery on my hand it felt so nice to have those gloves. I dont know what it is about those gloves.
I had Everlast Gloves and they were too tight around the hand, couldn't use them. I also had Grant Gloves, Campeon 16oz and they are like pillows, so couldn't use them either. Now I use Windy gloves, love them.
Dawg Windy are the thai gloves right? You also kickbox i think right? I used to do thai boxing and found the twins gloves to be very nice too. Have you tried those?
Yeah I kickbox. I train and spar with 16oz windys, real comfortable. I haven't tried Twins Gloves, I def will though because I've had bad luck with gloves lately.
Clitoris Gloves are the best IMO...but I haven't purchased gloves in over a year or so who knows what's changed.
cleto reyes feel snug like a bug around your fist and palm. i try to get my stuff from mexico 1/3 or half price. everlast is ok for the price i guess. they feel more like a boxer's glove, like for jabbing or straight punches. grants feel similiar. 20 bucks for the 16oz.everlast. i was disappointed with some squared foam with handles from everlast for pushups it was a waist of money i just use a regular pad for fist pushups. kinda felt like they half assed it.
By no means am I a fighter..just a guy who goes through workouts..hits the heavy bag...anyway..Everlast products always fail me..I got some of their novice training gloves...MAN the stiching on them is HORRIBLE. Three pairs in about three months..the whole thing just comes further and further apart with every workout. I got some of their more expensive Protex2 Training gloves and I love those suckers...just plain awesome...just got to wait and see if they hold up....
similar, but not the same. they are definitely better quality, i guess it's probably the design i'm not too comfortable with. most of the gyms around here have everlast cuz, well, it's the most economical, but i prefer to take my own so i won't have to share and wash my hands 20 times. but i'm not picky, i'll wear anything. my first pairs were those 8 dollar flea market ones i went thru 4pairs and they tear up pretty easily, but amazingly one pair survived, but i gave it away. great memories
