I doubt most agree with that. We are on the cusp of the biggest fight at heavy since Lewis v Tyson.
    It will be huge.

Most already do believe that. So, too bad I suppose. And that's not exactly a secret. And sure, Aj v Fury would be huge.

ok. Make a poll. No agenda. What era is better. The Klitschko era or the era since he lost the belts?

I’ll eat humble pie if you win and concede

But you say most agree? Thought that would give you some sort of sound evidence I could not refute?

it’s not perfect but you made the statement. Many boxing fans on here will answer honestly.

You think I was a K fan? I didn't even care much for them when they fought. But I'm not blinded by hate like you are.

Yes, the Klitschko era is over.

Nobody's mom is blocking the top fighters from meeting.

And the only Klitschko-era guy getting a title shot is an undeserving mandatory obligation from a sanctioning body.

Go watch your Vitali-Kingpin DVDs before they become totally obsolete, too, like the Klitschko era.

It was obviously not their fault that they were that much better than everyone else, And there was a lack of competition on their level

You either want to be the best heavyweight in the world or you don't.

Neither did. They started their own promotional company, promoted each others title fights, got paid each time one of them defended a belt, and made the conscious decision to share the titles.

    That's on them.

Luckily for us, the top heavyweights today don't want to share and won't make the excuse that they can't fight because mom will be sad.

I'm so finished with that era.

The Klitschkos did far more damage to the sport than good.

Which should have made him ineligible for a title shot straight after.

    Same with Stiverne II.

Povetkin had a draw with Hunter, who is a ring top 10 fighter. Beat H. Fury as well recently, who had a close fight with Parker. So it showes that Povetkin is a legit top 10 fighter in this era.
    Pulev also beat H. Fury.
    Wlad was in his 40s...
Current era is definitely weaker. Especially the second tier fighters.

hughie is not ring top 10 and probably never will be

Wlad never won a fight after he lost to fury

povetkin got smashed by AJ, wlad was a disgrace against pov, whyte will knock povetkin senseless. David price given 30 more seconds would have had him ffs.

Il say it again, put 2010 v 2020, standing v standing, and apart vitali v aj (slightly favour AJ) chag v ruiz (50/50 prime for prime and correctly trained) and wilder v drugged POV, 2020 wins .

heck if you put them in a league of 20, each having to fight each other once I guarantee a 2020 fighter would finish #1 and a 2010 #20

The trouble with the Klitschko era wasn't necessarily that the brothers themselves were so dominant, but that none of the fighters below them fought each other, or did so very rarely. Had they done so we might have got a lot more memorable fights, and a clearer state of the division.

Today there's a lot more competitiveness between the second-tier guys. The only exception is Pulev, who'll hopefully be gone soon.
