Does anybody give Abraham a chance against Andre Ward?

im putting alot of money on Abraham

 

As long uses his mobility (bad knees?) which hasn't been utilised too often recently and Abraham doesn't catch him with a bomb, he'll win with ease.

Abraham can throw some shots on close. In short he isn't a fighter who applies what he has very well in any area, covers up a decent chin for long spells, wings bombs every so often, they land, opponent is on a mess, they miss, and nothing for another round.

Not quite sure what his real issue is, but he has an odd way of guarding it. Maybe he just isn't that smart? Yet he knows how to play it very safe? I'm not sure, maybe it's stamina?he was never high output, but maybe he is just totally out of his depth at 168, Miranda and Taylor are not amazing gauges (both former Middles, both have frailties) and the top dogs in the division most probably have way too much for him.

He'd still smash Pavlik. Now sporting possibly the worst tattoos of all time. I mean, what were they....some sort of river??? Summat tribal on his back? Just woeful, the man is finished.

 

There's something very strange about Arthur Abraham. It's easy to see why he was outclassed against Andre Dirrell. Dirrell is fast and runs a lot. But the Froch fight was bizarre. As strong and disciplined as Froch was that night, Abraham was terrible and literally did nothing. His trainer called him a coward and a disgrace straight, and it's hard to disagree (although coward is a bit wrong). I wouldn't say his performance (or lack of) against Froch was deliberate, but his recent 2 round comeback was dodgy.

Anyway, this is it for Abraham. He's somehow got to the semi finals of the super six and no longer has a belt to milk the German audience back home. This is his final chance and possibly final big money fight. Hopefully he's worked on his flaws, sorted his head out and comes out swinging against Ward.

But I think Andre Ward is a special fighter. Reminds me of a mix of Hopkins and Mayweather. I think even if Abraham is better than he's been for a while and makes it competitive, I still believe Ward will outbox him and even out do him in a fight if need be.

Hopefully Abraham makes it interesting and then maybe we can finally see Pavlik/Abraham even if it is 3 years too late.
