Does anybody have any insight into the financials behind saudi fights? Are they profitable?

50 mill is pocket change for the Saudis.

 

Diversifying to renewables is the only way forward.

 

Fusion will solve all the problems. Unlimited clean energy

 

That's the hope, well never reduce our consumption to ever solve the issues of climate change and other political factors of reliance on oil, we need to science the **** out of the problem. With the recent breakthroughs in fusion the idea of nuclear fusion being a real thing doesn't seem like a fantasy anymore.

Renewables will play their part as well, as well as emerging possible options like hydrogen, alongside fusion.

If we can get to the point where we have near limitless clean energy I think it will be a pivotal point in human history that could see a golden age in advancements.
