Not like the fact that it took place in '53 and went 10, but details about the fight itself.

There was thrash thrown into the ring when the decision was announced in one of their fights.

Think it was a boring affair with neither wanting to risk to much.
    Ref scored it 53-47
    Judges 57-43
    54-46
    All in favor of moore

i believe that was the second, which sounded to be closer than the previous affair

The fight aired nationally in the U.S. on the Wednesday Night Fights.

Valdes won the first round on all cards and the third round on the referee card and one of the judge's cards. Otherwise, it was mainly Moore's fight. Valdes threw a lot and missed a lot because he was having problems with Moore's crouching. Moore would straighten up to throw shots, then go back down in a low crouch. Valdes was cut over the eye in the eighth round. The crowed booed at a number of points demanding more action.

    According to the NY Times.

Idk Valdes won a couple early rounds. What I did know was what was summed up in the latter half of the fight in the 2-minute clip on youtube. Have you seen the whole fight?

The film on youtube ends after the 10th, implying that it only went 10, which is how long the first fight lasted. The second went 15, and was a wildly popular slugfest. If one of them was boring it was probably the 1st. Plus, I heard Valdes worked on his jab btwn the first and second bouts to break up Moore's bobbing and ducking and thus make things more competitive.
