Does anybody know any of Anthony Joshua's lifts, max lifts, press ups etc?

Hopefull sit down shrugs...if i was his trainer that would be a no/no because dumb bell presses deteriorate and wear down the body.they are also dangerous and puts unessary stress on your joints which could effect punching power.

i used those weights for concentration curls for hook power and overall physical strength...those dumb bell presses are uneccassary and will do more harm than good.It looks good but straight bar benching is best and safer.

That is what I am saying, a lot of people say it was not, and was set up. It would be really impressive if it was, but the camera angles cutting off most of the Transit van, makes me think it might not be legit.

Lol at thinking that van lift was real. If you've ever lifted you can tell it was fake. His hips rise near the end but the van stays totally still which means his arms weren't locked out so at the end he was supporting the entire weight of the van with his arms alone, which isn't physically possible, unless he can curl 2000kg of course, lmao.

Ive lifted longer than Joshuas been Alive ..i think i could tell.Ive also lifted mini cars off the floor ,im pretty sure a 250 joshua could lift the back of a van up.His movents are EXACTLy how you would lift a dead object that large ...hwhy would he have perfect technique on lifting such an object? you can only put so much hips into something like that .the weight itesel is directly on your arms really.

A friend of mine told me about him when he was at a university years ago. He told me a couple of very odd, scary and weird stories

It doesn't really matter how much Joshua can lift tbh. I saw a video of Tyson training and he was half squatting (so it doesn't count) 225 for reps. Mind you he weighed at least 225 in the video. I don't think anyone here doubts that Tyson is one of the strongest fighters to live.

Joshua is obviously strong. Muscular size and strength are related. You can't build one without the other.

He does everything in gym, I know it from a guy who has trained in the same gym. He does bicep standing curls and dumbbell concentration curls. Bench press is also in his routine. Unfortunately, I don't know about max weights he uses.

It's been said that AJ loves lifting weights and is very competitive in weiglifting, too.

AJ ifts weights 3 times per week usually. That's besides his specific work with medicine balls etc.

LOL he "stalked" me from 14 to 19.

Never had to squat him or anything but when I caught him peeping over the cardboard cutout of the O2 phone lady watching me in McDonald's....enough was enough....

On a separate note ye used to do press ups with my mate (dead now God redtube hus soul) lay on his back.

    LMFAO.....Andy/Purple Aki.

I was told a similar story about him as my friend saw him around when he was at a university years ago and mentioned a story about push ups and a gym. I will have to tell him about this conversation

While he could possibly lift a small van he showed little exertion on that lift, yes form breaks down on max lifts but not on lifts you make look easy like in that advert. And from what I'v seen of Joshua deadlifting his form is very good he's not Tyson "snap city" Fury when he deadlifts lol.

And no a lift like that isn't directly on the arms, it's supported by arms that are locked out yes, but the force required to lift the van would be from, glutes, hamstrings, back, quads etc, not the arms. People who deadlift and use arms in the movement tear biceps.

Only way his hips rise and his arms don't move and therefore move the van is if one, his arms aren't locked out which means he's supporting the entire weight mainly with his biceps which is ludicrous or if his back became more parallel to the ground which would put undue pressure on his lower back, something you'd expect from a max lift which it clearly wasn't because he lifted that van like it was nothing and showed no normal signs of exertion you would expect from a near max lift where form breaks down.

Look at the advert again. The lift looks fake, he shows no exertion and I doubt they'd let him risk lifting a van for insurance purposes. Could he lift it, possibly, did he lift it in that advert, definitely not.

There are videos and pictures of him using weights, so the question is not if he does or does not, but what he does lift, and for how many.
