Does anybody know any of Anthony Joshua's lifts, max lifts, press ups etc?

    1. Of course the video of AJ lifting the car up isn't real, anyone who thinks it is moronic.

    2. Of course AJ weight trains! You can't build muscle to the size of his with just body weight exercises, you need some weight. Especially with the amount he's gained in a relatively short space of time.

    3. People slating AJ, or any boxer for that matter, for lifting something that isn't impressive (in this case 190kg DL) needs to understand these guys are boxers, not strongmen. If AJ trained purely for strength he would hit PBs all the time.

    4. Someone posted muscle and strength are not always related, this is definitely true. To gain strength you don't necessarily have to gain muscle mass. And you can have extremely big muscle and be pretty weak (body builders). I'm only 75kg, but can lift more than many people who have more muscle mass than me.

Given the dimensions of his biceps, shoulders, and wrists his regiment is probably something like:

    -200 pushups
    -300 situps
-20 bicep curls on each arm (70+)
    -30 wrist curls
-2 hour jack-off session with left arm
-2 hour jack-off session with right
-40 assisted weight shoulder raises (120 lbs)
    -30 dips
-both hands 3 hour jack off session with jergens lotion (for title fights)

i havent competed in 2 decades...i benched 265 at 150 once...my max was 310 but i wasnt a big bencher because it took alot of training and time..i was always a heavy curler because it assoccciated with punching( Hooks) benching puts alot of strain on joints and you really shouldnt go heavy if you are into combat...at least for me...i have a one arm curl of 120 pound concentration curl at 155 (good form) i can dead lift and squat i do that in moderation bc it will tear uo the knees ALL the guys at mu gym are on peds some kids goign 1000's pnds...they will not last long.

i also competed as a pro arm wrestler...former N.Y and national champion! I know about power here too bc my techinique is practially non existant.but i guess im moronic bc i KNOW the lift was real...what do i know as usual? :eatingburger

I'd say anything over 300 (bench) is good for 20+ years of training. 225 for bench, 315 for squat, and 405 for deadlift can be achieved after a solid year of training regardless of what the average trainee starts at. I'll have those by the end of July (5 months of solid training). I don't plan on going for crazy high numbers in my lifting career. After I get a 1,000 lb total I'll probably switch over to a more athletic training style. Idk my weight at the moment, haven't weighed myself since February (140) but I have definitley put on some more muscle. Trying to get up to 170 before I think about competing.

Bench press competitions. Somethinhg i was never actually good at because i shot up in weight after i was 25,i could usually double my presses p4p. My max was around 305 at 150 i was about 23. My max was 310 at about 160.I could have benched better but wasn't actually motivated , to do so...the same thing happened in sport arm wrestling...what a waste of what could have been there too...lol...i did get mine in though here and tjhere ,i would say defeating Shaq O'neil in arm wrestling back in the 90's ranks up there with some crazy stuff i done....
