Not guesses or estimates, i can do that myself, i mean truly know?
Just reading IVLG's thread on Pacs rehydration clauses has got me curious and prompted me to ask.
    Anyone know?
    Was it even disclosed?

I remember Lampley saying that Cotto only put a few pounds. 6-8 pounds if I remember correctly

Look at the tale of the tape cotto vs chop chop corley, cotto was like 157 and that was at 140, it is widely known that cotto bulks up, compare cottos body vs clottey ; to cotto vs pac, visible difference. If he only gain 6 cotto was 151 fight night and cotto walks around 160 plus, and cotto fighting weight is 157-160 and this is common knowledge. cotto looked much smaller verse pac, look at the weigh in cotto looked sick imo.

Lampley never says any such thing. The only time he brings up weight is early on in the first round when he says that, "some people thought Cotto would have a tough time making 145, obviously, he didn't."

Cotto weighed in @ 146 for Clottey and 145 for Pac. I'm quite positive that weight had nothing to do with Cotto's performance. It was the man he faced in the ring.

The Pac haters are getting really desperate. First it was PED's, now, it's rehydration clauses. The Pac haters are running out of candidates for the Pac-killer, so, they need to break him down via baseless accusations. Sad, really.

Hmm I'am starting to doubt it than. Just remember something that about 6-8 pounds from the weigh-in and that he usually bulks up to 160. Not to sure about the source now. Sorry :think

I was also curious of his fight night weight. I'm in no way trying to discredit Pac's win because honestly I don't know if the extra weight would have helped Cotto deal with those incredibly awkward angles Pac throws punches from, although it may have helped him absorb the punches, but that's neither here nor there I'm really just curious. The size difference fight night didn't seem that great and Cotto is surely a naturally bigger man.

I love Pac, best and most exciting fighter in the world, and im sure other people on the thread do too.
Were just having a discussion about Boxers on a Boxing forum, as crazy as that sounds.
    Nothing to get upset about.:D

another ignorant ass ******* here. Pac is just as big as Floyd look at all the tale of the tapes floyd has never weighed more than 148 fight night, he usually doesn't have to rehydrate because Floyd fights at or near his walk around weight. Its a fallacy that pac is even smaller than hatton. Pac is taller, longer reach, bigger neck, huge tree trunk calves where he gets his power from similar to Joe frazier and Mike tyson, but you would know **** about that seeing how you are a nuthugging fool who just started watching boxing since pack fought on tysons undercard.

There is no record of the weight since they did not get on the HBO fight nite scale.
He regularly makes 146 on a 147 WW fight. So 145 is not a stretch for him. Regarding his hydration - I seriously doubt his trainer and nutritionist would allow that because that is extremely dangerous. Not even bad performance dangerous as you can go in to a coma dangerous.
My wife is a nurse in a athletic clinic in Long Island NY (Giants, Jets, Islanders, etc as clients).
