    ...might actually beat Taylor?

I think I'm with a huge majority who picks Taylor in a lopsided UD or KO. But does anyone think differently? I'd like to hear.

I absolutely do. Don't ask me why. I just have a strong feeling that Lacy's time has come.

There is absolutely no chance Lacy beats Taylor. He got his ass whooped on friday night lights, even if Taylor stood toe to toe with him, he doesnt have enough power to hurt Taylor. This is one of several future fights that is going to force Calzaghe out of "retirement". The other being Kessler getting his ass whooped.

If Lacy returned to the form he had when he beat Reid, then he's got a shot. I'd still expect Taylor to win but Taylor can seemingly be questioned on heart.

Which is raw to say, being he survived two Hopkins bouts, but he just seems to be very defensive orientated these days, maybe due to Steward.

There was a reason Lacy was hyped and it's not just because he was a Tyson lookalike.. The one thing you can say for Lacy since, is that even during a painful injury against Tyspko, he still stuck in there and ground out the win.

We also don't know how good Manfredo is, because we've not seen him against viable competition, against Joe he just got his ass kicked, but he's been pretty competitive in every other fight.

Anything is possible and if Taylor did go toe to toe with Lacy "left hook" does have enough power to hurt him. He looks a bit shot lately, but his power is equal if not better than Pavlik's at super middle. I still think Taylor might KO him though because Lacy's chin has seemed to hold up less of recent, and he also hasn't been very active since the JC loss.

Its the last chance for Lacy to be something and the guy has pride. Taylor isnt Calzaghe and might just get surprised.

If he can somehow come out with balls to the wall mentality, one thing we know is that Taylor can be disheartened and is susceptible to power.

Lacy still has power. It really just comes down to whether or not he can land with it.

Lacy is highly underrated. Sure he was schooled by Joe
... but Joe seems to be ATG material and Taylor seems to not be one.

    good question...

Lacy since the Calzaghe fight and aside from the Manfredo fight, its fairly decent in the first couple rounds... And Taylor does have a habit of keeping that hand low and cradling it around... So the openings will be there... I don't see Lacy winning... Every fight Lacy had on HBO, he's looked like crap...

To his credit, Tsypko is a tough guy to fight especially trying to come back from your first loss... But his last fight, Lacy looked old and done... even though he is young...

Taylor seems like he has more left in the tank....

Have you actually watched any of Lacy's fights since then? Watch his fights with Manfredo or Mendoza, both of which were very close fights, and you'll see why Taylor is so heavily favored. The Lacy fighting now looks nothing like the Lacy who was fighting pre-Calzaghe.
