Does anyone actually believe that Arum does not pay off judges?

    the refs/judges are there own clique.

    they look for things they see as a determining winning formula. and some guys win due to that.

    corruption in boxing is a real thing but i dont think it's a big suitcase of money with a note saying go for this fighter.

    i always have this feeling that a lot of officials are zealots. who want the best fighter to win. regardless of the match AND THEY get employed and chosen by the commission which is hired by the promotion. that to me is what happens. not the other way round.

    Haven't read the whole thread but there is nothing preventing the promoter (who pays the judges) to set them up in a VIP hotel suite, with high end hookers waiting inside for them upon arrival, hoping that their scorecards meet their corporate objectives in the event of a close fight.

    I'd guess all of them do it.

    you learn the tradecraft and it stick with you.

    Not only Arum I'd look just as close at Oscar & golden boy not to mention King.
    Boxing is just as corrupt now as it was in the 50's with the mob running it
