If he beats Pavlik I doubt that anyone at 147 will want any part of him. If he wants big paydays he is going to have to make a name for himself at 160.

I am just wondering what his walking around weight is. That matters. If he walks around 180 then it would be hard. I remember Hearns (who was 6-1 1/2) walked around at about 180 when he was fighting 154 in 1986, although he only fought one time that year at 154. If Williams ages and starts to put on weight and goes to 170 or 175, 147 will be hard to get to. The walking around weight means a lot. If he can make 147 still, and he is fighting Pavlik, he might be walking around 165 or so. That is my quess.

I didn't say that. I said Hearns did when he fought at 154. I am wondering if you guys know what his walking around weight is. That has everything to do with where he can fight. If someone knows what his walking weight was 2 years ago and then now, that is significant. I just said my guess is his walking around weight is 165.

I think he can. When I talked to him on that radio show he said that 147 is his best weight and he can easily still make it.

There really aren't any which is why I am saying that he needs to make a name for himself. Rack up impressive wins and beat top guys and he himself will become the draw as opposed to trying to land a fight with someone with drawing power.

No one at 147 is going to risk a fight with him right now.

His other option would be to actually start fighting at 147, get a #1 contendor status and try to force a fight with a big name but by the tiem he does that those guys will all be ready to retire.
