And if not, why on earth should he be rated as the #1 HW? Because he beat someone that a lot of people, but by no means everyone, wrongly considered the #1 HW? So we validate that previous bad decision, even though we flat out know Ruiz isn't the best?

I see Fury and Wilder being massive favorites to beat him. I think Whyte, Usyk, Ortiz, AJ and Povetkin should all be slight favorites in a new fight as well.

If you rated Joshua a clear #1, Ruiz should be #1 now.
He's just beat him severely .... and Ruiz's only defeat was entirely debatable. So why the hell not ?

    Personally, I have Fury #1

No. I consider Fury to have the beating of him.

He'd beat that cuck Wilder though.

Fury beat Wilder, but who was Wilder really??? Not much compared to AJ. And Ruiz beat AJ down BADLY.

Ruiz win over AJ > Fury win over Wilder.

Now couple that with the fact that he now has four belts, he should be #1.

Tyson Fury vs Andy Ruiz is an Excellent fight, winner faces Deontay Wilder...Once this is resolved, you have an ATG

Joshua is going to have a tune up and take the rematch since there is a rematch clause.

No...I think Ruiz had AJ’s number last night but I think Wilder and Fury both beat him. I think Fury wins a boring 1 sided decision, I think Wilder stops him late shades of the Ortiz fight.

Well for the start Joshua did beat:

    Povetkin. Klitschko. Parker. Whyte.

I rate Fury as the best, and I think Joshua will reclaim his belts in the rematch.

Wilder has not done enough to be considered above AJ just yet.

Ruiz is a solid Top 5. AJ fought with a horrible strategy making the Ruiz look good. Trading with a short slugger at close range and not jabbing and moving enough to keep the distance were ameutorish. For ex Wlad was very effective vs short sluggers and probably would win easily vs Ruiz.

No, but that doesn't matter. He has the tools to beat both Wilder and Fury if they have even a slightly off night. And for me he takes Joshua's place in the top 3 triangle

Joshua is out of the equation for at least the next 18 months. His confidence is shattered, his heart questionable and the road back is going to be a long rebuild
