Hopkins may be better, but Golovkin is better than the rest of those guys. Golovkin and Canelo are very close as well. Taylor ,Pavlik, Martinez and Cotto would all be very Good interesting fights, but I would favor GGG over them. I'm sure you would favor PeeWee Herman over GGG though. That's what hate does, it blinds you. That's also ok. I expect that from you.

I know many people that don't go on social media still and like GGG. Old timers that watched him on tv and like him because they know a special fighter when they see one, because he is a exciting fighter that comes to fight, not a running shoulder roll specialist with a big mouth.

Especially a beggar that's going to knock them out and make them look like a bum. Sturm wanted no part of this beggar either for the same reason. Geale beat Sturm to unify and win the WBA super belt then vacated it right away because he didn't want to defend against the beggar. Later when Geale got the courage he Challenged the beggar and suffered the same fate the rest of challengers suffered.

I'm hardly surprised Golovkin was chasing the aging Sturm. It's definitely an upgrade from Ouma according to his garbage standards.

I'm not surprised either, Sturm had the WBA super belt.

Didn't you say on another thread that Wilder had a good resume?

Indeed, a paper "super" title. Very impressive.

For a Heavyweight compared to other Heavyweights, yes he does. Where else do you expect him to go?. Golovkin on the other hand, had risky options but didn't take them. Why would he when he has people like you roaring him on regardless?.

    Actually
I just appreciate him. What GGG has already accomplished is notable, he tied the all time middleweight title defense record, gained world wide fame and top pfp elite status. His fights with Canelo will be historical. In an ideal world I would have liked to see him fight Ward and maybe Froch, but GGG was establishing himself as the dominant middleweight force at that time. The names of Ouillin, Lee, Martinez, and Sturm would have decorated his resume alot more but they really didn't want it. Sometimes jumping around in weight doesn't work out so well, take Pavlik for example, he was the undisputed middleweight champion then got demoralized by Hopkins and was never the same. I'm not saying GGG couldn't handle going up in weight, I just think they were prioritizing their goals.Which were become undisputed middleweight champion, beat Hopkins all time middleweight title defense record, Then defeat Canelo or fight a series of fights based on how they go. Then move up. Obviously it didn't pan out exactly like they wanted it,but it wasn't to bad either. Not bad for a guy from Kazakhstan.

Yes, it's definitely not bad for a guy from Kazakhstan. However, I wish he had better management that could score him better/bigger fights earlier. He became notable to the public too late in his career and only he can be blamed for that.

Yeah, I wanted to see it take place directly after the rematch, not 2 years down the road when GGG was 38 y/o and even more old, grey and past it. But that's how the devious deck-stacking Ginger Toad goes about his business.
