Does anyone actually want Usyk vs. Dubois 2?

I'd be happy with just Parker. I like Kabeyal a lot and have since he beat Chisora out of nowhere, but he really is nothing more than a good contender at this point and I don't think he adds much historically. Instead of being beaten by Usyk and being a footnote in Usyk's story, let him be one of the guys who picks up a belt after Usyk is gone and continues to build his own story.

Parker and done for me, or Parker and a low-hanging swan song fight of some sort, just for fun.

Only if Usyk give him a free belly buster “nad shot” to make things interesting …

    Dubois 1 was more
Yes , dubois 1 was indeed more an ukrainian progaganda show than a fight .

Poland opens the stage , the ukrainian crowd cheers their hero . President zelensky is holding his political speech , everybody wants to see the knockout . initially things get odd cause the champ folds up on the canvas and not the other guy . The referee and an incredible actor performance save the day .

Finally the crowd gets what it wants to see : the opponent of the champ goes down as demanded ! ... from a simple jab ...

Do i want to see part 2 of this ? No

Do i expect it will happen ? Yes

    Yes. They have unfinished business.

    1) The "low blow" was a legitimate punch. Borderline? Yes, but it was legitimate and not a groin shot (Usyk likes higher shorts). Usyk doesn't like body shots and with a different ref, we could've had a different outcome. Could Usyk have gotten up sooner? Possibly, who knows. But that's what makes it interesting no matter how much people try to downplay the incident. It doesn't matter if you're winning every minute of every round, in heavyweight boxing anything can change in a flash with one good punch.

    2) Dubois is not the same fighter he was back then. He was a mental midget and still developing as a fighter. A fire has been lit in his belly and his technique, accuracy, and bloodlust have all increased 3-fold and Usyk is a little slower and older.

The ref got it right. Would another have ****ed up the call? We've certainly seen it before. But why are you arguing for a dirty fighter to win via dirty means? Dubois was throwing low all night, including the one in question.

Not to mention Dubois had his shorts higher than Usyk did. What an idiotic narrative that one has been.

It wasn't a low blow. It was a tactic taken right out of the page of John Ruiz's book to exaggerate a body shot.

I think Parker deserves the next shot, let's see if Daniel D can beat another top-ranked guy so we can make sure the KO of Joshua was no fluke, and that he has truly improved.

Really like both guys - but to be honest the idea of this rematch doesn’t move the needle for me at all. Was way more excited about Parker vs Dubois…:ohno

At this stage, no one. Maybe a win over a future champ will age well.

If the first fight had gone to points or something Dubois could legitimately have argued the low blow was a body shot. But he quite after eating a jab. So for me he would need to clear out more legitimate contenders (like parker) to justify another shot at the real champ. His run up to here since losing to Usyk is admirable, but lets not forget he went life and death with Miller, it's not like he's cleared out all the other contenders

Honestly no. Dubois has improved since the first fight, but not to the level where I think he has any chance of winning. I'm as excited for Usyk/Dubois 2 as I was for Fury/Chisora 3, which I still haven't watched to this day.
