Nope, shite fight, Purdys nothing special at all and Alexander puts you to sleep just watching him.

I don't think this is a great fight, but since it's on Sky in the evening? I'll tune in to watch it at the club. I don't know much about either fighter, Alexander is not Superman on the world stage, but has beaten decent fighters, whilst Purdy is not Superman on the UK stage. It's an excellent opportunity and I'd like to see Purdy give it a good go and risk a little rather than get a points loss or late TKO. You have to go with Alexander by a stretching, but we should all get behind Purdy because he has an excellent opportunity, if not a great chance.

He's at a good level and is still improving but I'm in agreement that he is out of his depth here. Alexander has a good chin and with his boxing + the home advantage I can't see him losing on points.

This will bring Purdy some exposure but this could be so bad it demoralises him, I'd say the only hope is that he keeps it slightly competative and saves some face.

Having said that, this is a sport where crazy things can happen.
