i think the 2 pounds will, i gave pacman hell for making cotto go to 145. every pacman fight that had a catch weight i blamed it on the catch weight. hes not making canelo go to 147 but he i think the 2 pd catch weight will be harder to make. i think he will drain himself some, but i aslo think he will weigh 175 or better. hope to see how much canelo weights fight night.

Neutral eyeball tests will determine it. People tend to forget that Cotto looked okay for 3 rds against Pacquiao but of course he struggles with stamina and he couldn't handle Pacqs speed period. Full credit though a bit tainted as it was at a CW and same will be said for Floyd from my perspective. Would make it greater if Floyd would just allow the two pds to take any constructive criticism off him imho. Glad fight is happening and we'll see how the weigh-ins and in fight mobility of each fighter is.

The rehydrated weight matters more in MMA and wrestling than it does in boxing. Weight is something you can use to lean on an opponent and grind them in MMA and wrestling.

In boxing, the only real advantage with a massive weight advantage is to be able to generate more force in your punches. However, if you are not sharp enough to land those punches, its a negligible advantage.
