Does anyone beside me actually appreciate Wladimir Klitschko's style?

The man has a beautiful Jab and Cross.

 

Respect , yes absolutely.

For a man who is clearly not a natural fighter to be the heavyweight champion of the world , no matter the competition , has to be respected.

 

I know that I enjoy his style. Then again... I am a boxing fan. Most people who claim to be fans don't actually appreciate boxing. They don't understand what "hit and not get hit" means. Wladimir makes that especially great because not only does he put on a clinic... he also controls distance, timing, pace, range, balance, breaks his opponents will, takes their heart.... and then at a rate higher than most throughout history.... he stops them.

People complain about Wlad being boring/knocking his opponents out, and fail to realize that he has a higher knockout ratio than Mike Tyson, George Foreman, Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield, David Tua, Joe Frazier, Riddick Bowe, Larry Holmes, Joe Frazier, Ali, Joe Louis, Sonny Liston, Jack Dempsey, ect...

In other words... his critics don't really have any legs to stand on. The only people who hate watching Wlad fight, are the ones who are hoping to see him lose.

 

Yes, the thread starter was correct, and must have a more keen eye for boxing than you do. Wladimir has great footwork for a man his size.

 

Vlad is boxing 101 and beyond. He is beating up all the hater's heroes!
