Both human and wildkingdom history testify to the potential of female fighters. There are some real female wildcats out there but like with MMA there isnt yet a big enough pool participating.
Not a fan of women's boxing myself, but i have to give support to the hometown girl holly holm. She is one of the p4p best in the world, so she's made the duke city proud.
Ever since both Laila and Wolfe retired, nobody care about female boxing. It's a damn shame Laila didn't have the guts to fight Wolfe. Wolfe would have ko Laila so bad that Laila would need a surgery for a new face.
I only like it for the wrong reasons. That Acosta chick that just fought recently has captured my heart.
I've seen some exciting women's fights in both MMA and boxing. Most recent I can remember was a great little aussie boxer Erin McGowan beating kickboxer Angie Parr a couple years back. It was a great fight, both fighters were skilled and technically good aswell. There are certainly some skilled women fighters out there like McGowan, Holm, and Katie Taylor in the amateurs. Infact, the only interest I have in the upcoming Olympics will be to see Katie Taylor finally get rewarded for her skills with a gold medal.
Katie taylor is f**cking awesome, noone close to her am or pro, and shed prob take out a few of the lower league males aswell?? wat a talent shes only 23 wonder will she go pro, after london??
Taylor is IMMENSE, i think she got as big if not bigger cheer when she fought in the o2 in dublin than bernard dunne got
