Why people want this fight to be made, make no sense Rigo is a small super bantam, that look like He can even make super flyweight, And Loma is a strong super feather.

 

Rigondeaux wanting to fight Lomachenko is about as believable as Lara wanting to fight Golovkin.

No I don't disagree one bit. Boxing is a business and yes fans even in this board present double standards and hypocrisy everyday with one fighter being held one way while another is given a pass but it's hard to market a guy with no monetary support which is the ultimate reason why Rigo gets shitted on. Guy just told it like it is and Lomachenko will never be a Pacquiao let alone Floyd.

Boxing is turning it business model after UFC but it's not new to manufacture superstars. That's as old as boxing itself. Lomachenko is already 28 and he already has a blemish to a over achieving gate keeper with 14 losses on his record. Today's fan is easily succumbed to hype. Just look at Ronda Rousey and McGregor.

Lomachenko is going to do some great things but he will fall short again. No shame in this. Times are changing and boxing which is far watered down now is doing what it has to to adapt and survive.

If Rigondeaux is actually trying to fight Lomachenko without trying to get him to go back down in weight, I support it and will call it a duck if a legit offer is made and not accepted. That said, (unfortunately) there is alot of space between a social media spat and a fight that I can watch. Not holding my breath. And when Rigo was fighting more often, everybody was riding his p4p jock as well. Rigo has nobody to blame except himself for his relative obscurity.
