Does anyone else doubt the 15 million offer to Wilder from Hearn?

Hearn apparently offered Wilder 15 million to fight Breazeale / Konwacki.

The numbers just dont add up, he offered Dillian Whyte a third of that to fight Anthony Joshua.

    How does that make sense?

There's a big stipulation in it that Wilder signs with Dazney.

How about Wilder just sit around a table with Hearn and discuss the options, he might find it not so disagreeable.

Well he only gets that if he also agrees to fight Joshua as a part of that, that's where he makes his money back. I'm sure he'd honour the deal if Wilder's team accepted it but I also think that offer was partially to sow discontent between Wilder and Showtime. I mean when Showtime offer him $2-5 mill for the Breazeale fight and he sees Hearn says it's worth $15 mill to him, Wilder will of course be asking questions.

It does make sense, hurts showtime and secures the joshua fight for dazn, but i do think part of it is to **** with showtime and Haymon as the post above said.

Its a big call by Hearn but it is no doubt legit. Making the offer of 15 plus the Joshua fight serves a number of purposes including putting pressure on Haymon and Espinoza to try match it and they will look bad if they dont or cant, it again shows that Hearn and Joshua are not ducking Wilder and if it actually came off everybody gets the fight that everybody claims they want.

If they took that offer everybody is a winner. Its all good money, everybody is going to be paid well, we get the fight we all want. Only person left out in the cold is Stephen Espinoza, Not Finkel ,Dibella, Reas, Haymon, just the network chief who loses out on a big PPV event. Which will explain his stone cold hatred of anything Eddie Hearn. He knows hes getting crushed under the power of other networks. So apart from that ****ing weasel turd everybody else comes out of the deal better off and there is always a network or 2 that loses out on fights so sorry Stephen but its just the way it is.

Its not an easy offer to turn down and give good valid reasons to do so when you know nobody else is guna be offering similar. The people trying to push the narrative that it is infact Joshua and Hearn doing the ducking must be finding it harder and harder to push it these days.

There is no offer. Hearn is saying he could do that if Wilder just picks up the phone.

I will add paying AJ $50 mil didn’t add up but look how many people believed that.

As someone alluded to Hearn sees the bigger picture, tie wilder in, lose/ break even on wilders first fight, recoup and make profit on the potential mega fight.

DAZN USA would be the ones funding it. It's a USA show so they can offer what they like. DAZN are not going to pay that much for a fight in the UK as they want to grow the USA market. The Whyte numbers are more on what they can make on Sky Sports Box Office.

It makes perfect sense overpay wilder to make the Joshua fight. Give him $15m as long as he gaurantees he fights Joshua and that fight is on DAZN. DAZN have to buy into the market for long term gains.

This. Wilder never denied the $15 million, but Wilder made it clear he won't give Hearn future options on him.

But he should, if Hearn has proved one thing beyond all others it’s that his fighters become wealthy, well known and perform at BIG events. Wilder has none of those and no prospect of ever having them without Hearn being involved
