A lot of times I get more enjoyment out of watching a demolishion rather then two elite boxers running for 12 rounds. Like Mike Tyson vs Julius Francis the British Champion at the time or Peter Mcneely. Julius Francis was paid to have advertisements on the bottom of his shoes for when he hit the canvass. And people really wanted to see that fight. You could tell there was a lot of excitement in the crowd for those fights. Some Hopkins, Mayweather, and others half the crowd is asleep or leaving early. Only when its a mismatch by surprise like froch vs bute or pac vs oscar. I dont really enjoy watching wlad jav away mormeck.
Wlad is too patient. I mean mismatches like were you know the boxer is gonna come out sorta like a lion trying to take down a buffalo and go for a brutal first round KO. Tommy Morrison had some exciting fights like that
As others said its only fun when its a surprise. I didn't especially enjoy Darchinyan vs Victor Burgos. Mismatchs usually end up with one guy getting badly hurt.
I only like mismatches if they're not on PPV and it does what it's suppose to do, aka building up a young fighter or building up to a big PPV showdown.
i dont like mismatches at all. i like competitive fights in which there s a knockout after the 9th round. anything else is uncivilized.
