Is it me or does he get way to involved with the fighters and fights and make things to personal, which in turn seems to be hurting the UFC?

    Any thoughts:rasta

He is an egomaniac and has become addicted to being in the limelight. He thinks the UFC is all about him. I watch the fights they put on but pay little attention to what Dana does on camera.

you can tell who his boy toys are when he gets them to the ring after a win of someone he would rather not see as champ such as the french canadian gsp. dana's is so in love with bj you would think he recieves them from penn. and mark my words bj penn will be owned by gsp and hopefully that shut that ****s mouth for good. he talks like he's already beaten gsp when he lost the first fight and has done sweet pissall at 170.

I think its refreshing to see the UFC with such open doors the president is always on camera. Boxing gets such a bad rep because people are always saying fights are fixed.

I have been skeptical watching some boxing matches. But it seems the MMA world has such an open door policy that its hard to ever question if fight are fixed or not.

Well, he never really stayed or even fought anyone except the champ. Move up in a weight class beat the champ and that was about it for his WW career. He got wooped by Hughes afterwards anyways.

So what? He beat the best person in that weight class; the champion.
He got beat by Hughes 2 years later. That is quite a length of time more than 'Afterwards'. Not to mention BJ was out of shape and dislocated his rib in their 2nd fight, where he was whooping the motherloving crap out of Hughes for 2 rounds.

Ehh, Penn pretty much showed that when he comes prepared, he's a handfull for anybody. I think St. Pierre will win the match, but wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Penn pulls off an upset.

He gave St. Pierre just about all he could handle the first time they met, and he came in, typically not in top shape.. Penn is focused these days. Days, wouldn't be so confident in St. Pierre if I were you.
