Ever since the MMA crowd embraced Mike Tyson, he has become unbearable. The latest stunt was when he invited a rapper to his podcast, and then ambushed the rapper using his daughter who felt she could question/intimidate the rapper probably because she's thinking "Mike Tyson is my dad". Who gave Mike Tyson, a convicted ******, the moral high ground to chastize a rapper about his views on transexuals? Tyson seems to have realised that as long as you align yourself with liberals you can act like a self-righteous intolerable twit. The funny thing is that Mike Tyson always talks about others being bullies but he's the quintesential bully, right up there with mad Dereck Chisora. His jealosy of Mayweather is another terrible character flaw he has.
Wat Mike Tyson is right about Floyd how can you call yourself the greatest when you can't even take your own kids to school. Isn't Mike's daughter a kid? ambush? intimidate? Lil Boosie? nobody cares about low IQ irrelevant rappers who call themselves lil. bruh. Either way you're buying into fake hyped up nonsense from the media & spreading its negativity. Don't be a sucker.
You're probably not American, neither am I, but what I do know is that in the states thinking your a badass won't stop someone pulling up on you and putting a bullet in you, see what happened to xxtentacion after he got rid of his security. Mayweather is smart, not a simple thug like Tyson. Why spend decades building an empire only to not enjoy it because you put your life in danger by taking your kids to school without security.
Yeah, Tyson has turned into the awkward kid that started hanging out with the cool kids (MMA crowd and liberals) so thinks he's cool and can do and say cool $hit.
I listen when Tyson talks about boxing. I don't consider him someone to take advice from on anything else.
I can't stand Mike Tyson. He is an odious, narcissistic, vulgar and phoney pseudo-intellectual. He's also an incredibly overrated boxer. He was beaten around every time he stepped up. His top 3 wins are laughable when you juxtapose them with this mythical reputation his fanboys are still trying to uphold.
Yup they have inflated Mike Tyson's head so much that he forgets he was convicted for ****, and was alleged to have beaten his wife/girl friend. He throws stones from his glass house.
If only it didn't take me years after he retired to realise this. The same MMA fans and liberals who $hit on Mayweather for manhandling his wife, conveniently forget that Mike Tyson spent four years in prison for ****, and was also accused of domestic abuse by his wife/girlfriend.
Most of his fans are blind in love with his thuggish persona. Tyson fanboys remind me of Wilder fanboys. As you say, people can be hypocrites. They shoot themselves in the foot.
Are you talking about the Boozie interview? I'm very happy for Malik Abdul Aziz and all the things he has done to stay out of trouble and seemingly on the right path. I do find it a bit hypocritical though the crowd that embraces nowadays. Most of them are not boxing fans, they probably only ever saw him in the hangover. I grew up on Abdul Aziz, and I supported him the whole time he was locked down and even defended him for retaliating against Headbutt Holyfield... The people embracing him today weren't there for any of that. Still though, I can't help but be happy for Malik
He's good for the odd motivating or philosophical soundbite or too but despite having lived a crazy life there are no real paralells with us regular mere mortal folks.
Mike Tyson fifteen minutes of fame ends years ago you make a thug a good athlete but you can't and aren't going to make a decent grounded moral person.
