Does anyone else find this Mayweather wrestling thing to be just plain stupid?

He is getting $20 Million for doing it isn't he? He isn't that stupid after all and he won't get hurt ! Smart man is PBF.

 

Rocky Balboa did the exact same thing. And he became so popular that they even cheered for him in Russia despite him fighting one of their own.

 

It's frustrating knowing there are fights that people want to see. If he was "done" with boxing, I think it'd be different.

 

It's all about the money, nothing else. He is laughing all the way to the bank.

 

If it is true that 20 million figure, then I wouldn't call it stupid. I might call it stupid if he knocked the offer back !

 

He is not getting 20 mil. Thats what they want people to think but come on WWE cant afford paying one guy that much.
I read somewhere he is getting a lil over a mil but you know 20 sounds alot better.

 

I heard that he's not getting 20 Mil at all...it's just a publicity stunt, just to get people interested and to add to the money mayweather act.

Brian Kenny on FNF said it's more like 5 mil. I don't see him getting 20 but hey you neva know.

 

Pretty much as stupid and pointless as a rematch with the golden panties.

 

What can you say .........its just fantasy and if they are willing to pay.... but it makes PBF look foolish. Then again hey Rodman and Tyson have done it. I dont care for this kind of thing personaly but then again they are not paying me, so its easy for me to sit on my ass and pass jugdement.

 

That's the thing. It's been a straight warm up for a long time with Floyd. Besides, he will likely just sink back into semi-retirement again, only to come back with an equally pointless matchup with someone like a blown up Pacquaio. Mayweather will never fight Cotto.
