Im just about to get it put on is it worth it in Auatralia Boxing wise. I was wondering because ive been told they show alot of Soccer which i find very good. But i was wondering how often they show boxing aswell.
I just cancelled it, got it for the Calzaghe fight because they assured me no pubs were showing it in WA. Wasn't impressed to find out five minutes after booking it that the Greenwood was indeed screening the fight. Production values are also a bit iffy, watched a odi between India and Pakistan the other week with no sound for an hour and a half. The do show boxing, its just its the 463rd repeat of Calzaghe-Kessler. Football wise its SPL, Man U, Chelsea, Euro Champs, Eufa, Bundesliga, Conference and a few others.
Im fully into to watching football on it now. The european leagues are at such a better quality, Ill probably get rid of it after Jan though, it has to much of the same ****. Was worth the $15 for Zaghe vs Kess but now I just dont see the point because ESPN and Fox 1-3 all play at least some european football everyday.
Yeah, it seems Satanta just show all the leagues that are left over after the rights have been done with ESPN & Fox Sports.:yep
i just got it cut off , the qauilty of the telecasts are poor and i love football but **** thats all they show , hardly any boxing and the calzaghe /kessler telecast was rubbish , even going blamk in between rounds.
I got it fot the calzaghe fight and the telecast was ****. there hasnt been any boxing on it since calzaghe. All they show is soccer and i dont even follow soccer.
If it has plenty of Football i will watch it. I hope they show the Hatton-Mayweather that would be nice.
Hopefully Setanta will realise that a lot of people got it just for the kess/cal fight and will offer more of a variety rather then just soccer soccer soccer. I would of been interested in keeping it if they showed more boxing. Also, the telecast for the Kess/Cal fight was one of the worst I have seen. Was ready to throw my bundy can at the screen every time they went to a fkn ad.
I am a big AFL fan, but even i can see that Soccer is becoming more and more popular in Australia. to call it "wog ball" is really out of touch with society these days.
