Does anyone else here think only Bernard Hopkins can train Kelly Pavlik?

Boxer Kelly Pavlik withdraws from upcoming 10-round fight in his hometown, derails comeback

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Former middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik has withdrawn from Saturday’s 10-round fight against Darryl Cunningham for unknown reasons.

Pavlik was scheduled to fight at the Covelli Centre in his hometown, with the bout to be televised nationally on Showtime.

Pavlik’s withdrawal was announced Tuesday by Top Rank, Pavlik’s promoter. Todd duBoef, president of Top Rank, said he was “very disappointed at Kelly’s sudden decision to discontinue the rebuilding of his boxing career.”
In January, Pavlik checked out of the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif., after two months of treatment for alcoholism.
Pavlik most recently fought in May, when he beat Alfonso Lopez by majority decision on the undercard for Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley.
Before then, he hadn’t fought since April 17, 2010, when Argentina’s Sergio Martinez took his two middleweight title belts in a bloody unanimous decision that ended Pavlik’s 2½-year reign atop the division.

Hops really seems to have ruined him. I think only Hopkins and his trainer can be the one to bring him back.

    Kind of like Rocky 3.

I think he might since he did offer to train with him and teach him how to "fight black" after schooling him.

I don't think Hopkins would have the patience for a guy with Kelly's current discipline and dedication.

And Pavlik was drinking his entire title reign. He was already damaged goods by the time the Hopkins fight even happened.

I remember Roy Jones said that he(Jones) would not train anyone because they would have to go through similar training that he did.
Look at his physical abilities and him pushing himself to the limits. Try to imagine you doing it.
