Does anyone else miss Adam Smiths commentary on matchroom fights?

    Listing to Dazn’s new British commentary team really makes me miss Adam he was the Martin Tyler of boxing.

    No i like as Adam as a front man but as a commentator he is terrible

    Tyler is a dinosaur. Smith is that stupid and giddy he’s actually amusing. Better than Costello by a mile.

    I couldn't stand him at first but I must admit I grew to like his commentary after a while.

    I like listening to Adam Smith's interviews, and presenting but not his commentary. He spends the fight going into the fighters backstory, not the time for it.

    What a thread!

    As mentioned earlier, I wish we had more Americans commentating on British cards, Malignaggi was/is excellent and there's just a certain feel about American commentary that I like. Put Paulie and Atlas ringside telling it like it is and I'd watch every fight

    Anyone but Costello who was somehow brought in to DAZN with a massive fanfare and hype as if he's the Mubammad Ali of boxing commentators. He may be good at play by play for the Radio but he certainly doesn't need to bring that energy for TV.

    Sam Matterface for ITV football, is another one. Keeps yapping away during the game because he started on radio too.
