Does Anyone Else Remember The Ebo Elder vs Courtney Burton Fight?

    Truly one of the most miraculous things I have ever seen in boxing. If you dont believe in God, this is the type of fight that could definitely influence you to start lol.

    I remember Elder being down on the cards tremendously going in to the 12th round. His corner and the beaten Elder huddle into a group and say a prayer to God. The ESPN commentators kind of make a joke about like "It seems they are going to a higher power to get advice on what to do"(Or something like that) Anyway, Elder comes out KO's Burton, he cant get up, fights a wrap. One of the most amazing things I have ever seen since I started watching boxing as a young boy. You would have to see it live to grasp the magnitude of the situation.

    Did anyone else see this? It was in 2004, I was talking to my brother about it yesterday and was just curious what the fellas on ESB thought about that fight.

    Yeah, this was on Shobox. Great fight and an amazing finish. Before Showtime revamped their site, you could watch a lot of previous fights on their web site. I remember linking a few casual fans to the fight who were blown away.
