It could provide for a great sharing of resources.

I've scanned, as PDFs, about 100 issues so far. They're mostly from the 60s through the 90s. It's a time-consuming practice using an inexpensive Canon printer / scanner unit. But I'm glad I did it & enjoy my "virtual boxing magazine" collection.

I’ve never thought to do this but I might give it a try some time.

This would be amazing for historical backup.

I've been downloading old boxing in case videos get taken down. Unfortunately I dont have any articles to share.

YouTube videos go down pretty often, so it's certainoly a good idea to download anything you'd be bothered about not getting to see again.

When I use to go through my old World, International and BB of Boxing Magazines years later I found them pretty thin reading .. I never liked Boxing Illustrated or The Ring the much .. I get the idea of collecting but at this stage don't find them that interesting.

Not much. I put them in my car in the garage and I don't look at them. I wish I did. I have so many. I never wanted to transfer. The original product is the best and most accurate.

I would love to read some old magazines that were around in the 70s-90s. It’s a shame that the Ring is the only mag out on the market right now. It’s really gone downhill in recent years.

First ten years? Wait a minute, are you saying you have copies of from The Ring from the first ten years of its publication? If so that is extremely cool.

Yes I'm sure most have jobs as I do, but we are all intelligent enough to divide our free time with what we enjoy doing, and not spending it downgrading people and calling them names.
Has anyone else noticed all the Jerks in this forum that seem to spend more time jumping people than replying inteligently to the posts.

I have some, I use to buy Ring and one or 2 other Mags quite often, I like the idea of scanning them, my WIfe & I had both purchased hand held scanners for our Family Tree work, and they work fantastic with that, so I'm sure it would also work well with the Boxing Mags, you should look into getting yourself a good handheld scanner, we take them everywhere we go in case we run into Family tree or other info to scan.

I'm way too lazy to scan mine. I did make an index a few years ago. So, at least I know what I have in storage. I lost a lot of them through the years, unfortunately.
